Dan-Ball itself, meaning. FAQ style!
Q: Why won't the makers of Dan-ball listen to me yet they delete comments? Who are the makers of Dan-Ball anyway?
There are three makers of Dan-Ball, two of which are actively participating in it and one who is known to be alive but not working much for Dan-Ball as far as we know. Ha55ii won't look at your ideas, and otascube deletes offensive comments sometimes.
The three programmers of Dan-Ball are the following:
Ha55ii designs the web games. He does not care to look at the comment boards very much because he does not speak very much English, and he does not usually speak with the Japanese on the Dan-Ball CBs. The tech support board is the only place he can be seen communicating with the community, and then he only talks about tech and likely will ignore anything off-topic. Perhaps he would like to stay a recluse as he does not want publicity. He also has a twitter, but he does not use it often. The only time he comments is to announce updates. He likes working out as well as MarioKart, and is Blood type O. The only known way to contact him is through the Inquiry box at the bottom of the screen and Ha55ii rarely reads them at all.
Otascube programs mobile games. He speaks English fairly well, and likes puzzles, cats, Mario, and Metal Gear Solid. We know more about him due to his capability to speak English. He has no plans for PG, and he collabed once with Ha55ii to make Flip Ball. Otherwise he created it himself or made mobile versions of simple web games. His favorite web game is Micro Panda. He himself created at least five stages for it not found in the web game. He likes to paint and to party, and helps us send heartfelt messages to Ha55ii sometime, such as when Ha55ii once was sick. He got to stage 33 on valistroke once. He also has blood type O. He browses the comment boards sometimes and is usually the one deleting your comments.
Tylor programmed the framework of dan-ball itself and the skin. We have verification that he is still alive and speaks Japanese, but it is not known whether he continues to support and participate in dan-ball; his last known act is likely the adding of the Chinese side, although it is not known to be him. The least is known about him, but he has an affinity for movies and has a dan-ball skin on his blog.
Note that the pronouns refer to a masculine entity; it is not FULLY known all three are male but they most likely are.
What does Dan-Ball mean? Where does the Dan-Ball mascot come from?[/u]
Dan-Ball means cardboard. The purpose of the site is to look like cardboard, and the mascot is made of cardboard boxes.
When is Dan-Ball updated?
Dan-ball on the web is updated each Friday, except when Ha55ii is ill or cannot update it. Mobile Games do not have a set schedule but are usually updated on Wednesdays/Fridays but not every Wednesday/Friday. Occasionally the site goes under an update.
What are search and flash games?[/u]
Search games are advertisements for games off the site of Dan-Ball. It's absolutely free, but people rarely go there. People also can rate it.
The flash games are just really a big collection of spot the difference things and others of the sort, which are fun minigames.
The site says "Free Games". Are there non-free games?[/u]
No. It is still a free site.
To be continued...
