Using GV's method, I can rule myself out and him, giving us a 1/3 chance of winning... Wait, one third?

Yes, 1/3. Two of the people in that method are mafia, while the other is innocent. We only have one lynch possible, out of three possible victims. I don't see the problem.

....*facepalm*
Well fuck, I fail at math. Two of the people ARE mafia, but we win if we choose either of the two, despite the fact there's only one lynching. 2/3rd's chance of winning, my bad.

The group was solem and morbid for the rest of day 4. What had seemed as an opportunity to stop the Mafia once and for all was quickly realized to merely show that the Mafia were nearly even with Innocents. Faced with unfavorable odds of successfully choosing a Mafia many became withdrawn. General Veers tried to decide on someone who may be Mafia, but he too fell prey to indecision. By nightfall, a verdict had not been reached. No one would be lynched that day.
And thus begins... Night4 2 days remaining. 5 Remaining Players: 1 Cop, 2 Civilians, 1 Henchmen, 1 Mafia Boss.
Night ends at 12:30 AM GMT, 24 hours from now.
Night Roles, send me your PM's! Remember there is no posting during night!

GV, realizing this is his final chance to catch the Mafia before it's too late, tails Elmach as he gets ready for bed. Elmach had always seemed a little suspicious, and he was the best lead GV had. Elmach seems to do nothing out of the ordinary, until, after mostly everyone else has fallen asleep, he goes down into the basement. Elmach looks around, making sure he's alone. GV watches in suspense, wondering what Elmach is doing. Out of nowhere, Vertigo appears from a secret passage, connected to stairs that lead up to what GV suspects is the study. Elmach jumps, obviously startled to see Vertigo. "What are you doing down here?" he asks. But his answer never comes. Vertigo lifts his arm straight out in front of him and squeezes his index finger. Elmach collapses to the ground, a bullet between his eyes. GV runs back up the stairs, more loudly than he hoped. Vertigo notices him and begins to chase after him. GV arrives in the main room to find Anon5 and Avenger, both fully alert. "What was that noise?" asks Avenger. "It was this," replies Vertigo, now standing directly behind GV, his gun pressed to the back of GV's head. Vertigo underestimats GV's skill though, and GV quickly but skillfully disarms Vertigo by spinning around and twisting his wrist. GV tackles Vertigo, pinning him to the ground. "General Veers!" exclaimes Anon5, as he rushes to help him. But before he could take even 3 steps, Avenger quickly takes a knife and jams it in between Anon5's ribs. GV watches in horror as Anon5 crumples to the ground. As he is distracted, Vertigo punches him in the face, and Avenger quickly grabs him and locks him in a full nelson. Realizing that he has no escape, GV ceases to struggly, and Vertigo promptly picks up his gun and shoots GV in the head. "That takes care of business," says Avenger, "You sure had him fooled, Boss." "The Godfather should find my performance... noteworthy," says Vertigo, "Why don't we contact him now..." Elmach was a Civilian Anon5 was a Civilian GV was the Cop Avenger was a Henchmen Vertigo was the Mafia Boss
And thus ends... Crazy Mafia Mystery Extravaganza! Vertigo, Avenger, and Nonja win! Good game to everyone!
