The top half of Unclaimed Canada and Russia are both polar, along with the tip of South America. Finland is completely polar. The patch of green in Scandinavia is rather annoying.
@xshadowlordx: What picture? Did you mean to say 2MN2? Your question-I'm pretty sure ObG already answered that;
The cities needed to conquer countries are as follows: (and I determine country size) One City Countries: (Like Vatican City) Capital Tiny countries: (Like Macedonia) One City+Capital Small Countries: (Like Italy) Two Cities+Capital Medium Countries: (Like Peru) Three Cities+Capital Large Countries: (Like Mexico) Four Cities+Capital Huge Countries: (Like the whole USA) Five Countries+Capital Colossal Countries: (Like Russia) Seven Cities+Capital Player countries that are One City use the One City city amount, Tiny-Small Player countries use Medium, Medium use Large, Large-Huge use Colossal, and Colossal Player Countries need Nine cities captured to be conquered.
Instead of conquering cities, I'm pretty sure you have to establish cities in each country. If not, ObG will correct me.
@xshadowlordx: What picture? Did you mean to say 2MN2?
Whoops. Yeah.
Anyways, I wasn't talking about the cities. ObG said we had to use WarSim for the battles, and right now we don't know how many armies each nonplayer country has. We kinda need to know that to use WarSim.
And my understanding was that we had to have a separate battle for each city in the territory we're invading.
EDIT: I'm starting to think this game won't function very well or go very fast with ObG as relatively inactive as he is.

I realized that the Pastamancers (which is the official name for our people, by the way) are going to be killed off within days of the beginning. Darn Nonjas!
So, I have added a strip of land.
It is not contiguous because our scouts who went via the land route were killed by nonjas, OK?
So we just crossed the Sea of Pasta.
EDIT: Who cares? We claim it anyways. EDITx2: TSL convinced me to make it a straight line. It formerly was parallel to the coast.
Northern new city is Bucatini, Southern city is New Pastaland.
Ok, 2MN2's new territory has been added. Also, for even moar aesthetic appeal, more ice has been added and the Sahara Desert has been colored like sand. ;D
Owned by Glove, Lasagne Fort is more of a fort than a city... like pearl harbor. So could you add a defensive bonus and not have it count as a city in "nation takeover" count?
Also, how about actually showing the current map like
Oh, TSL: I think you should add the "boundaries of the world". Otherwise, people would think that the tip of Russia is far from the tip of Alaska. Or that west of the West part of Antartica is sea, instead of the East part. Get what I mean?
Oohhh... How aesthetically appealing... (I love those words)
I realized that the Pastamancers (which is the official name for our people, by the way) are going to be killed off within days of the beginning. Darn Nonjas!
^Why I chose a relatively uninhabited part of the globe.

I should probably arrange my cities soon. I know where I want the capital to be (About between SD and LA, in Southern California), and maybe a few of the cities, but I'm not sure how many to add.
Well, like I said earlier, it'll definitely be a problem if ObG is as inactive as he is. But speaking of game moderators, I think it would be a good idea to ask him the next time he comes on, if a couple of us could be game moderators. That would speed things up.
You don't actually need to place cities. You just attack, and if you succeed, you capture a city. You must conquer all cities esides the captial before the capital. You CAN name cities if desired. And a new idea: City defenses: they function like armies that don't move form the city for Math Combat purposes, and they are whatever you designed them to be in RP.
You add armies just like in NGI, with 2 posts. New cities take 25 posts. When you capture a city, you gain it and your bordrs increase. Remember, I MUST be notified when you are fighting an CPU country. ANd the CPUs aren't dumb either:They can b contacted, they will help you in battles if you'rea allied to them, they'll attack you during war, they may start wars, they will fight each other, they will ally eac other, they have attitudes towards you, and they're basically other player countries that are controlled by me, except they don't have research or city/army bars. Eac country gets somethingspecial to start with, like a wall, an extra land or sea army, a city defenses, an automatic five posts' progress on a city or an extra basic tech for battle. Such auto tech provides a +2 bonus for math combat, and is usale in RP Combat. My country is adept at building, so we get five posts' progress on a city. For RP purposes, my seven cities are as listed:
Poi Dar City Poi Dar Fort Wa Tar City Blok Fort Wind City Startrop City Startrop Fort
Whew.
Poison glove, slowly robbing you of your health in a hail of poisonous punches.
The Roman Age. When cities grow in power! Nations start out with such tech as the new steel, to conquer, ally, and rise above.
Era meter created: 1-100 Please note: Poi Dar City is the capital. The seventh non capital city is Wind Fort.
Plai Ar Un Ryob faces Plai Ar To Jelkiy. "It is time to begin our rise to power. Start training an army on land. I plan to soon attack Western Canada." Jelkiy responds. "Ryob, I will. So far Fier Fort has shown a promising amount of progress. I am ecstatic to see the design of the place.. I hope it will be beautiful." "You can follow your useless sentimental nonsense if you want. Just oversee the training of the army! And also, I have an idea for a new type of soldier to stock our land armies: Fier Archers. We'll train them in Fier Fort when it is finished, and they'll be more armored than regular archers. And their arrows will flame!"
RP: Land: The soldiers in my Land armies are as follows: Poi Dar Swordsmen. Thesemen originate and are trained in Poi Dar Fort. There are many of these light infantry in an army. They wear leather armor, and wield short swords, and wear bucklers. They succeed in battle by swarming the opponent. Blok Calvalry: These horse-riding men originate and are trained from Blok Fort. They wear banded mail, wield lances, and don't have too many numbers, which they make up for in combat ability. Wind Archers: They are light archers with padded armor (padded cloth) that originate from Wind City and Wind Fort. There are many of them like the Poi Dar Swordsmen. They fire longbows from long range. Startrop Greatsword men: They originate from Startrop City and Startrop Fort. These are a few elite swordsmen that wear half-plate, wield greatswords, and come in small waves during crucial moments in a battle. Sea: Wa Tar Boats: Light boats that have a few archers and rowers on them. They maneuver quickly, and although they don't have much firepower, there are many of them in an army. They come from Wa Tar City, which is a coast city. Math: No Boni. 2 Land armies in Poi Dar Gam, one Sea Army just off Poi Dar Gam.

Ugh, this is rather too complex for me. I'll take awhile off. Not so much too complex as too lazy, and until the game really starts to pick up (You never know if the game will die off the bat or not until it's alive) I won't waste my time. Besides, I'm never a fan of games that feature rebellion because they almost never take into account brainwashing.
As to the cities (presumably I need 7 with a capital): The capital is located between LA and San Diego, and is named "Nonja HQ". Those two are cities. San Fran is another city, and Las Vegas. Wichita Falls, as well. Hmm... How about Salt Lake City and Seattle?
I am assuming, like NGI, you only get one research point per post unless you build a facility that says otherwise. Since it's a bit early to be building universities, may as well work on my reserve troops. How are new armies gained? Is recruiting progress different from research progress?
Training Program: 1/20 (if applicable) New army: 1/2
Advisor:"Good evening Grand Calim. Everything is well in the kingdom, though the guilds are expressing a desire for more trade opportunities.
Grand Calim Salid Dalid:"Very well, I will indulge them. We must begin by forming armies to expand our borders, however. Send out recruitment officers. If we still get nothing, be a little more persuasive."

Training Program: 2/20
Our Nonjas must have the best training in all the land. Also, the civilians receive basic combat training. They could easily revolt, if it weren't for brainwashing. Yay, brainwashing!
(if applicable) New army: 2/2. So... yeah. One army, or do we start out with some?
Lord Eltain I : Ahh, we start today, our grand cities of: Calish, Helmur, Brystingur (Capital) Hainduk, Reku, Dune, and Dain, are formed and we hereby abolish our previous lives for a single empire of power! We will crush other nations and take Asia as our own.
The crowds cheer.
Lord Eltain I : *Whispering to an advisor* Send Calishman and the other small nation south of them that we have already claimed Russia, any attempt to capture will be futile. And they will be quickly terminated.
Country-bonus. Remember? I chose to have a +5 on a city, (one of the options) before the start. And cities are out of 25. I didn't cheat. Also, Elton, only one army at a time. And the tech level is too low for cannons. Regarding RP time, each 2 era meter points equal a year. Also, I am appointing TSL as a battle moderator (Can operate Warsim, and can referee RP battles) Plai Ar Un Ryob turns to Jelkiy. "Contact our neighbors, the... *reads copy of a map of the world* Pastamancers. *snickers and looks around* Anyway, just send a diplomat to them. Now." "Yes, Ryob. I'm pleased with the progress on Fier Fort." "I don't care, Jelkiy."

Grand Calim Salid Dalid:"One army is not enough. And get started on some of those wonderful new scimitars I've heard about. Quite wicked, from what I understand"
*The fierce king Saif-ibn-Shahir paces around his throne room in the capital city (Which has yet to be added to the map by TSL) and thinking about the future of his glorious empire (Which has yet to be renamed by TSL to something really awesome-sounding).*
King Saif:"I want you to start the immediate training of new armies for the empire!"
Advisor:"Very well, Your Majesty."
King Saif:"But wait... We are going to need a lot more powerful military technology if we are to subdue our enemies. Hmm... I think the current state of our military is disgracefully shabby. We need some way to make them a truly formidable force. A masterpiece of military might... Hmm... I want you to start a vigorous, elite training program for them.
Also, I want a complete new set of the strongest possible body armor designed for them, complete with shields, spears, and swords.
In addition, we should fortify our major cities. Build some strong walls around every major city. But leave a ton of space between the city and its wall, so it has room to grow.
Also, start creating a glorious new naval ship design equal in might to the armor suits and city walls. Bigger than any ship we ever imagined. Then begin constructing them and hiring sailors so we can crush our enemies on the seas too."
Advisor:"Absolutely, Your Majesty. But I fear the citizens of the Empire will view you as too tyrannical and too obsessed with conquest. We've already made a bad enough name for ourselves already. We should do something for them so they don't rise up against us."
King Saif:"Fine. Give the Empire a fresh new look or something. Overhaul all the cities, all the roads, all the buildings, everything! Plant some nice gardens everywhere. Build a ton of new buildings and monuments! Push the boundaries of our civilization out into the untamed desert! It would be nice to see this pathetic excuse for a palace glorified too. It's too drab. Build everything to a magnitude Arabia has never even imagined before! I shall call it... Project Utopia! (This was totally ripped from myself in NGI ;D)"
Advisor:"But, Your Majesty, where will we get all the money to do that from?"
King Saif:"Steal it from the Africans, of course! Those people are our captives, remember? We conquered them quite a while ago. Take all their possessions, and then bring them over here to use as slave labor for Project Utopia! After that, take over the African gold mines and use them as much as needed. Dig more of them if you have to. Perhaps one day in the future when we expand enough, we will set up colonies there and settle the area, and the we will have a Project Utopia in Africa as well. But for now, we must concentrate on building up our homeland, our wealth, our resources, and our military security before venturing out into the rest of the world. Now get to it immediately!"
(As stated by ObG, everyone starts with a small bonus of their choice. I will use this bonus to add a headstart of 5 posts to the Armor Suits.)
Note: I am making Project Utopia count as an Era progress thing, and it will take 60 posts to complete (See spoiler below). Is that ok, ObG?
• Full Armor Suits + Spears/Swords/Shields - 6/15 • Fortified Stone City Walls - 1/20 • Elite Army Training Program - 1/10 • New Warship Design - 1/25 • Project Utopia (Overhaul of all Cities, Roads, and Buildings in the Empire/Beautification of the Empire) (E) - 1/60
(These country names are modern day names and are not used by the people of my country at this time. The made-up names will be changed by me soon, as will the name of my Empire and cities.)
• Saudi Arabia - 3 Armies • Yemen • Oman • Qatar • UAE
• Sudan • Ethiopia • Eritrea • Djibouti • Somalia
• Arabian Army Training - 1/∞ (1 Army per 2 Posts)

"Jelkiy, how are the Fier Archers going?" "Ryob, we've just figured out the weapons and armor they'll use. Chainmail, and shortbows." "Well, speed it up! And make another army."
3 mixed land armies, 1 Wa Tar Boat sea army Leader Armaments: Ryob: Breastplate, scythe. Very aggressive, charges in and will stab enemies when they're down to make sure they're dead. Very bloodthirsty in combat. Relishes killing. Jelkiy: Padded armor, light crossbow, dagger. He pefers to stay back out of most of the combat. He fires from afar with his light crossbow, and if cornered, throws his dagger into the enemy and runs. Hates combat, usually retreats after he hits someone. Very squeamish about killing.
Fier Fort: 8/25 Fier Archers: 3/20 New land army:1/3
CPU info: North Brazil has attackes South Brazil. Defeated, lost all armies, while taking out only one of South Brazil's two land armies. Spain conquered one of Portugal's cities, losing one of its two land armies, while destroying both of Portugal's. Argentina has allied itself with South Brazil.
Poison glove, slowly robbing you of your health in a hail of poisonous punches.
You start out with 2 land armies and 1 sea.(Come on you can make it game!) By the way era research takes 20 posts worth of research to make an era point, and every 2 era points, a year goes by.

The problem is, even if I used a different canon I wouldn't be having much fun, since I'd be doing the same thing. If it lives I'll hop in later as a singular RP character. I miss those. If not, ah well. The Nonjas can have a revolution or something despite the brainwashing, I guess, so long as most of the main power somehow ends up on an island you-know-where.
Oh, and I still didn't get an answer to my question.
