This is a relatively new save of mine (from a couple days ago, so don't expect much), and it is good for judging my style of gameplay. Note that the whole thing is done on hard mode (Don't feed me anything about easy mode being harder, it isn't) Expect hidden passageways and torch paths, and I doubt anyone will be able to find out where I hid the diamonds. Some may find the secret escape route, however. I have done tours of this save in chat before, but besides that I won't say anything about it except to say that I spawned on a bed of clay and hollowed it out to make my first house for this map, and Qwerty Forest was originally just two trees. I'll post a Cartographer map of it, too. I'll update it whenever I do anything worth an update. Here's a version of the map that misses the underground parts: dl.dropbox.com/u/1179274/Minecraft/map.pngAaand here's the map itself. Do whatever you want with it; blow it up, continue it, whatever. dl.dropbox.com/u/1179274/Minecraft/QwertIsland.zip Changelog:10/9.2:- Added a wall around the base.
- Died and regained my inventory.
- More mining.
- Outposts I and O (Possibly not uploaded yet).
- Bridge to nowhere done-ish.
9/30.2:- Fixed the Minecart System
- Bookburning!
- Mad Scientist Cave updated. Gotta find it to see how.
9/30.1:- Cobblestone Generator at Base Q
- Full Cave Exploration at Outpost D
- New Papyrus Collection System at Base Q
- Minecart System in Mine Project 1
- An excess of iron
- A TNT trap somewhere

And they said clay was hard to find when you spawn on it most of the time!

I found two massive beds of it nearby, too. You can see just how much clay I have in my chests.

I had to make it tiny to fit it in. Should be readable.

Besides you could always zoom in to see it better.

Grid mining, eh? I should start doing that, my diamond supply is running out...

Not grid mining, drift mining. Caving is SO much more efficient, but drift mining is safer.

Heh... Caving is hard if you don't know how too... but you get used to the creepers jumping out of nowhere and quickly slash them to death. (and I see you have a diamond sword too which makes cave mining even easier for you)

Oh, almost forgot to mention, I have this map on my SMP server.

What's the IP to your SMP server and how often is the server online?

|

Post by QwertyuiopThePie on Oct 12, 2010 21:00:22 GMT
The server is online practically 24/7 thanks to my linux box, and I'll tell you the IP later. It's private.

"The server is online practically 24/7" "online practically 24/7" "24/7" If you like you can pm me the IP and I'll come and check it out... :3 (but only on weekends due to it not working during the week)

Usually you can enter if you happen to be on chat at the right time. I guess I can PM you the IP. It's a madhouse sometimes, though, albeit an organized one. Just ask Bentbox about the Hub.

Not this insane asylum again. It's so disorienting with incinerators hidden in the floors. Oh, and qwerty watches your every move...

Only the new members. And you walked into that incinerator, most have safety things.

The SMP server has indestructible fire that you can't stop. -.-
But the download version is cool. I can't wait to see it finished.

Er, Memzak... EVERY level has indestructible fire. That's what fire is.
Anyway, it's a minor annoyance at most. I just happened to light my house on fire with the spawnpoint inside it, all you have to do is walk out and set your /home elsewhere.

No. I've been on many SMP's without indestructible fire.

Yea, I checked it out over the weekend.
Am I allowed to build on it? (like a random building in the middle of a forest?)
