There may be another move there may not, from what I have heard there used to be alot more people on this, If they put a link to this on the dan ball web-site that mightspark up some activity, but what if the form moves again, and why don't people just search for this if the couldn't find it after the move, there are so many solutions the problem is finding the one and doing it and soping all the planing. And Im serios why is it called dan ball?

I'm not sure how any of that relates to nostalgia, but I'll answer your questions anyways.
Unless people become dissatisfied with the way the Triumvirate runs things (which is always a possibility), or unless ProBoards starts charging for its base services, we are unlikely to move a second time. The reason we do not have a link from the Dan-Ball site to here is because we are not truly official, despite some of our thoughts to the contrary on the older forum.
I'm sure some people did search for it after the move, although we made a link on the old forum to the new one before the old one got deleted. Almost no active people were left behind, and almost all inactive users were left behind.
To the extent of my knowledge, we actually have a peak activity rate in contrast to the older forum.
As for why the site is called "Dan-Ball," you would have to ask ha55ii...

Does that then relate to the cardboard figure? If so, then that pretty much sums up the reasons, just to make sure.

I think he's relating to the forum before the move and in his case, WAY before the move. As to the reasoning why it is called cardboard, I have no idea. Perhaps because it looks like cardboard or because their mascot is made form cardboard.
As to a retro forum day. I'm for it.
As to way back when... Yes It was pretty cool back then.

Yeah... I remember that at one point I became inactive for about a month. Then I came back to see how things were going and the forum didn't exist. I was shocked to the point of WTFLOLBBQ-ing and after about another month, I was able to find General Veers on Chatango, and that's where I learned what happened.

I found 4 Japanese words for cardboard:
atsugami, itagami, danbo-ru, and daishi.
Danball was apparently first the word for cardboard in another language.

Oh well... Danbo-ru is very close to Dan-Ball anyways...
