I've been trying to make a reusable accumulator without much luck. ideally it could: read write clear reset I've mainly been testing out salt, seed and acid. Seed is the best contender so far. You can control it's creation(wood/water) and control it's destruction(seed eater device). Salt has some modest vanishing properties(SW appears where water was located) and is easy for laser based read back systems. Acid I just like for the extreme memory potential(20 states per px), very tricky to work with though. any thoughts would be appreciated, always seems to go better after some discussion.
