Hai guys, I'm looking to host a website, problem is: SCAMMERS, reviews = unreliable, top 10 = unreliable, anyway, you get the point... what I'd like to know is: what site do you use? Hosting costs?? Is Server Uptime good? How much does the host let you store? how many FTP users?
Many thanks, Powderlich

I use zymic, but it's a bit annoying sometimes and there's no ASP. It's free. Godaddy is another option, but the ads are annoying if you don't pay.

I also use zymic, just for spare files, but it has annoying downtime.

I'm mainly using a free Awardspace account. They are pretty good, only downsides are a 500kb file limit and you can't hotlink images from other websites (read: no picture hosting for this forum). You can kinda work around both of them (just remove the extension of the image and use a php that does readfile("part1.big); readfile("part2.big");...) but the bigfile thing is kinda unreliable. I recently registered a zymic account which doesn't have the restrictions awardspace has, but it doesn't look too stable to me. I'm not convinced enough to entirely switch to zymic.

It has a nasty habit of deleting pages entirely at random, so if you use zymic make sure you have everything backed up. I didn't back it up and as a result my digital Nonja base has a gaping hole in it that I'm frankly too lazy to fix.

Thank you all very much! You are very helpful ;D ! I have decided to go for GoDaddy.com hosting for my website with the "economy" package as it best suits my needs as a webhost, once again, thanks.
