Current Situation: Our scouts have recently discovered that nearby West Outpost C is rallying a regiment to attack us. (10 000 Troops) At the moment they are rallying inside the city and expected to attack us in about a week. We have decided to attack them and take the outpost first. BEFORE the start their attack on us. This'll give us the element of surprise. They'll have their regiment ready by the time we attack and they'll probably have a couple thousand troops to look after the Outpost. I've also been informed that they have a well developed air defense sector, so our airforce will also be in for a fight.
Here's the plan:
I've set a Cytronian Regiment (10 000 Cytronians and 4 Queens) to intercept the 10 000 Phoenix Regiment. Cytronians will be able to intercept them 3/4 of the way to the outpost as they move quicker in these conditions than a human would. (due to not needing sleep and the cold not affecting them) It'll be a close battle between the two so I'll need one other legion to accompany the Regiment. I was thinking the Biopunk Battalion (1000 Troops) should accompany the Cytronian Regiment and attack the Phoenix Regiment before we reach the outpost. I'd also like a Clockwork legion (2500 Troops) to accompany the Regiment. This way we'll have a total of 13500 Troops (and the 4 Cyrtonian Queens) and we'll be able to outnumber them 135 per 100. This'll only be a slight advantage but once we win we march on to the West Outpost C who'll be caught be surprise and lay siege to it. As we attack this is where our airforce will take off and flight over to initiate combat with their air defense. (It's assumed they have about 20 planes so I suggest that we send out 10 Mz-15's, 10 Mk-115 GAI's and 6 Mk-260 HGBA's but I'll leave the air part of the battle to Fireball) Just before we attack the outpost, Fireball, use all the bomber planes we have to drop off the SR legion. (2500 Troops) From what I understand they can survive extremely high drops and can just jump out of the plane and land near us. We'll then attack the outpost with as many troops we have left after the battle earlier and the SR legion.
Message to All:
Now that you are all briefed, I've already set out the Biopunk Battalion and the Cytronian Regiment to intercept the other army. I'll catch up with them a bit later. Will a Clockwork legion accompany us? It'll really tilt the first battle in our favor. The newly formed 314th Company (21) can also join the battle for it'll provide good experience for them.

Instead of the requested amount. The CL are still working on the recent set backs. The CL send 5 of their Shadows.
They are to shock down the battle field in on of the main transport planes.

Pie: This will give us an excellent chance to try out the mini-drones. We should send one main drone in with a trio of mini-drones to sniff out the network. We'll need to protect it, since I can't seem to find anyone to help me install their defense systems. The Phoenix Military probably has defenses against most of my methods, so I'll take a little longer to break in, and by the time I do many systems may be shut off, so we can't starve them out this time. Most likely, however, I will be able to create chaos within their systems, and at the least disable their usage of them.

"It's completely understandable, Eltain. After all Elton is in biomort and the Clockwork Legions are in a bit of chaos." I said over the communications.
"Fireball, thank you. Please hold take-off until we have eliminated the Phoenix Regiment. Otherwise you'll alert the Outpost that we are about to attack. (if you attack the outpost before we reach there)" I also said.
"Pie, Go for it. Sorry I haven't been helping much with you're research, I shall be a bit more active in helping you now." I said.
"Keep moving boys, we're almost there!" I said to everyone else around me. (The 11005 troops that is.)
Estimated Time of First Blood: 2 posts.

Draxor: Alright, sir... We're heading towards location. Down on the ground, we're sending a squad of Dragos to scout ahead with some Draxorion troops. They'll be keeping an eye on the base while the rest of the 314th strategize. I trust that you can give them any commands for attacking, defending, and such. Those troops I sent will arrive a little before you do. They'll be under your command. I'll be in my camp, and will arrive at the scene later. We'll bring support. Over and out.

"Noted. Thanks Fireball and Draxor. We'll do so." I said in reply to both of them.
In the far distance we located the Regiment. First blood shall be drawn soon.
"Fireball, launch an air-strike on a position north of me, I'm sending you the aprox. Co-ordinates. Once you finish we'll attack from the ground and you may move on to combat their planes as they fly up to defend their outpost. " I said.

@fire: Bombs? With PHX AA? Okay, whatever you want, but I expect we'll come out of this with half the planes we went into it with thanks to using a strategy that didn't work in WWII and probably won't work now.
I'll take a seat and get ready to get cracking. When I notice that the terminal is all wrong; someone's been moving things. I suspect we have a traitor in our midst and I suspect his name is Sparkpowder. Traitor or not, he's been messing with the comm network, and not in a good way.
So, yeah. I'll be spending part of the battle locking out his computer access, since he seems to desperate to sabotage our system. You can blame him for that.

Draxor: The 314th has been positioned at a safe distance away from the attack site, awaiting for Memzak's Army to give command. Current position is available to attack from long range. We have Draxorions on the field, long ranged support. I'm here to pick off a few for fun, and I'll also be positioning my troops. We'll make you proud. Awaiting orders, sir. On standby.

[IC] Using my Sparkputer's CommPortDetect program, I find that West Outpost C has 3000 unused pots. I am requesting permission to send a Communication Port Takeover program once we take West Outpost C. I will also send in my RC Combat Truck.[P
Sparkpowder: Men, to arms! RC Vehicles: Yes, Recruit! Sparkpowder: Go to the coordinates I've given you and wait for further direction from Memzak. I've loaded your Robot OS's with all the latest attack and defense programs. Your backpack is loaded with accessories including the username and pass to the chat. 3000 unused pots? I highly doubt it. 3000 unused ports? I still highly doubt it. Their system is completely different to our systems.
"Attack!" I shouted out.
Just after the air strike was over we charged towards the Phoenix regiment. Despite the airstrike they still marched in uniform lines and were very organized. We'd have to take out the commands to better our odds.
"24 Devstators to form and attack form the right flank another another 24 for the left." I said to the respective Cytronian queens over the communications.
The battle has begun.

Shadow 1: : Memzak, we wait for the UF's Outer Structure Warships to come to the battlefield. The ship will float but won't be as large as you think...
Shadow 2: : I'm seeing a new unit on the battlefield... What is that?
It looks like, a turret. Wait... SHIT
*At this moment the turret drives a rail through Shadow 2 bursting him into a pile of guts and gore. The rail moved faster than one could see. At this moment the Shadows split up and ran torwards the turret. The second shot blasted the fifth shadow off at the run.*

For crying out loud, Spark. You've been blocked from the network, and that is my job, not yours. That post has been struck from the record, although I would like some of those pots. Do they have nice flowers?
@fire: Yeah, but I'm sending them in amongst the general confusion. The ground forces no doubt also have communication lines. As mentioned earlier, Phoenix troops do not like wireless communication, which is why probes are necessary.

Draxor: We can see the turret's afterimage... We can't identify what it is either. Sir, they need support! We're going to be unable to send any units, it's too dangerous, sir. Our Draxorions are still firing from long range. Safe range, at that. I'll send in a few DRAXOCs to the area and have them recon the turret thing from long range as well, near the Draxorions. The Dracus will shoot any enemies that leave the protective flanks. They are in mid range. We can't go any closer for now. Over.

The UF's airship joins the battleship. The floating mass of multiple layers spawns about 30 bombers. The bomber move at Mach 2 and release 4 bombs each. This devastates the entire rear reinforcements for the Phoenix. The rail turrets take out 10 bombers. The remaining jets join Fireball's Squadron.
Commando : Alright, we know the formations. Tell us where to go Suir.
The jets turn to fighter mode. The wings move slightly back. The guns and missles come out.

...And yet you insist you still have some form of RC probe. Considering in your last post you "destroyed all of your bases with over 9000 of my dudes", which I'm pretty sure qualifies as treason whether its powerplaying or not, I am pretty sure you don't have any authority here. Memzak has the final say, of course.

Read my post in this thread. Ignore everything Sparkpowder has done. Delete all posts that he makes in this board until the specified date. OOC: Sorry for 2 day inactivity, first couple days of grade 10, been very busy...
"Pie, could you dig up what information you can about those turrets? I've sent you an image taken with the suit." I said.
"Draxor, 220 reserve troops are at West Outpost B. They are cytronians who have been disconnected from the hive mind and reformatted with data we have from your current troops. They know all your tactics now and have similar personalities to the troops you already have. They've also been renamed to their skills. They heavy gunners now called Dracorio's and so on and so forth. They'll arrive at this battlefield in about 3 posts from now." I said.
My cytronians at West Outpost B are in maximum production. They are producing as fast as they can so that they can replenish the 220 that left and get a new regiment of cytronians. The regiment will probably only be complete 5 posts after we take West Outpost C and they'll be sent there to defend it so that we have one Cytronian regiment (and 4 queens per regiment) for each Outpost and then one regiment for pushing further into phoenix territory.
"Fireball, we don't have anti-air defense. Which is why we are counting on you to take their airforce out. Use dogfight tactic 2 for initial assault and then switch to 5 afterward to confuse them." I said.
I then took out a daggers and started throwing it at people who looked like they were in charge, so to confuse the phoenix troops when their commander is dead. I only killed about 4 commanders but it was apparent that there were many more.

Alright sir. With them, we will have more soldiers covering the front line infantry's hind and side flanks. We will have Draxorions south-east and south-west of them for more additional firepower. The DRAXOCs can use any information on the rail turrets and send it to the rest of my company. More efficient take-down. We have 20 Draxorions behind the main battlefield, and the other 30 have been divided into 2 groups of 15. One group to the left, one to the right. South-east and south-west, as I said. Most of those troops will arrive with the reinforcements from Memzak. A group of 3 DRAXOCs has been assigned to each group, and will also arrive in due time. The remaining DRAXOC has been assigned to me. The Dracus (40, soon) are still in the back of the main troop assembly, and assisting. The Dracorios have been divided into 3 groups of 25 (still have yet to arrive), each assigned to move in from the South, South-East, and South-West positions to cover the Dracus, and also assist the battle charge. There are 10 Drakan (troops are still moving to this area) in every covering group in case of an emergency. 15 Dragos (still waiting) have been ordered to move in and hold the enemy back with the Dracus, from behind the back flanks. As of the moment, I hope we can assist as much as we can, until the reinforcements arrive and give us more strength. They each have a leader for their squads... Their orders have been given... I shall now... Give a little morale boost. Over.
*loads an M200 Intervention .408*
Draxor: DRAXOC Unit 1, get the laser rangefinder from my suitcase. Use it, and get me some high-priority targets. You have the Advanced Ballistic Computer installed into your system, right? Calculate the points in system, get me the adjustments and relocations. Get any idle DRAXOC units from the other squads to give me any other information as well on the targets.
DRAXOC Unit 1: Yes, sir.
...
*takes down an enemy commander from long range, who was apparently giving his soldiers orders in the middle of the battlefield*
Shut your mouth.

From the left flank I sent the Pyro's from the Biopunk battalion to attack and push into their regiment. I then looked up and saw that the Stormcage with stormbugs was coming ever closer. The Devastators that were attacking on the right flank were digging in deep and one of them sent me a very close up image of their rail gun before being blown to bits and reforming into only 10 Cytronians. (2 irreparable after the rail hit them)
"Pie here's a closer picture of their railgun weapon. Please tell me what you can find about it.We need to destroy it." I said.
I then took a knife and attached a small plastic explosive to it and threw it with all my might at the rail gun and just before it hit the gun, it exploded as it was shot by an automated defense system.
"Looks like this is going to be hard." I said.
I turned the invisibility on and ran out on the right flank where the devastators were pushing in deep. About five of them had been destroyed and there were only enough cytronians for 3 to form and 9 spare. I then commanded them to run closer to the railgun with me running behind in front of them. The plan worked and the railgun didn't notice me and started shooting at the Devastators who then dispersed and retreated to attack the army again. As I was close I noticed something strange. There was a minimum range for the rail gun, and I was below that range, so it couldn't hit me. Now all I need is some time to figure out how to destroy it as it was heavily guarded on ALL sides.
"Artifact123, put your most powerful small bomb in the pocket dimension, I'm up against the railgun and need something to break the hull so that I can kill the crew, I don't want to destroy the whole gun as maybe we'll be able to reverse engineer it." I said.
I then put my hands in where I normally get my massive supply of knives and await the bomb to be placed in the pocket dimension so that I could take it out and use it.
(The pocket dimension being where we can warp only SMALL objects by putting them in a pocket dimension)
"Oh dear, I hope this works." I said quietly as I was pressed up against the front of the railgun.

What is the turret attack range's radius? If it can be specified... Temp, how much time would it take to be able to give control of a turret to us? Anyways... All of my soldiers are in position. We are providing massive cover fire and are taking down about 3-5 times more targets. I think we should be able to cover more ground in less time. Memzak, care to confirm? My Draxorions have incendiary ammunition for their sniper rifles and marksman rifles. We can take down small groups at a time, not just individual soldiers...
Draxor: All Draxorion units, use incendiary rounds to take down groups of soldiers. Dracus, hold your positions and hold the area. Dragos, use throwing knives for maximum close-range.
Memzak, any orders for us, sir?
*loads incendary rounds into the M200 Intervention .408*
Hm... I wonder...
*blows up an enemy commander's head, from long range*
I'll try shooting at the turret railgun thing...
*fires a round at the turret*
The shot seemingly did nothing, but a small flash was seemingly spotted near the target zone.
Clock, would these work against the turrets' hulls?
Anyways...
