I'm sure you did damage. But only to the shields. You'll notice the plasma cover expands when you shoot it. Bouncing the bullet off. If one were to fire enough rounds at enough places. You could hit the hull. Whether or not the hull will take it is impossible to guess.

Pie: I'm not sure how long it would take. I can find out once we get the probes in and connected.

I wonder... *looks for any isolated turrets in the area, which are not near any friendly infantry* Aha, there is one to the East... I shall call the group of soldiers that I placed in the South-East to attack it... My 10 Drakan will deploy grenades and fire rocket launchers at the shields from as far away as they can. My 15 Draxorion troops in the South-East will use piercing rounds, incendiary ammunition, the DRAXOC assigned to that area will give any communications... The 25 Dracorio in the group will use their .50 Browning heavy machine guns. The three groups will aim for the bottom of the shields, and keep the shields weakened as much as they can until the shields may be down, or have been bypassed. Then, we can start... The onslaught. Unless of course, Temp hacks them before I blow their hulls and take them over with firepower.
*takes out a Barret XM500*
Mwahaha...
*attaches a bipod*
...
*fires all 10 shots from the first magazine and inspects the area of effect*
Hm... It seems... That small flakes of the shattered bullet were able to pierce the shield, if I'm not mistaken...

Pie: I've got a time estimate. It'll take me about 5 posts to get into the first, 3 for the second, and 2 for each from there on, unless I develop some turret-hacking tech later. Of course, that's only for the small ones.
One of my large probes has located a wire, and has locked down on it. I have access.
Hacking turret 1 (closest one): 1/5

You cannot do damage with flakes of a bullet. Let Tempy hack it!

Dang it, then... I'll call back the troops that I sent to blow the whole thing up... They were going to use all of that firepower. :/ All well.
Draxor: All troops, return to checkpoints Alpha, Beta, and Gamma... We will return to fight the main forces while Temporarily9 hacks the turrets and gives the Memzakian Army control over them. We are now awaiting orders from any higher class officers.
*salutes*
...
*goes back to totally breaking apart enemy soldiers' guns with .50 caliber bullets from the Barret XM500 on the bipod, being unspotted*
Hehehe... Now they can be taken care of- *snipes their secondary weapons* - by the units.
Draxor: Dragos, throw the knives and give their intestines something to digest. Draxorion, go back to sniping squads with your CheyTac M200 Interventions... At previous positions... Dragos, move back to the battlefield you were previously at, before you throw the knives... And everyone else, use the current weapons you have and make them useful. Chop chop... Over.
*looks through the scope and shoots down a commander, along with his 5 fellow soldiers whom he commanded, with powerful and accurate speed*
Anyways... Back to my sniping marathon...

Note:
Temporarily9: Evil Nonja leader.
Pie: Memzak's Army Hacker, resistance leader in NGI
Qwerty: T9's prisoner most of the time, original Nonja Fighter.
2/5 on that turret.

We are referring to you as Tempy, or qwerty because those are your usernames. Temporarily9 and Qwerty aren't even MA Canon Characters. Because the Nonjas aren't in the MA Canon.

They aren't MA canon, no, I was just explaining to Drax that "I" am not Temporarily9.
3/5, turret function disabled.

UF Airship blasts a plasma blapt at the Rear Turret and destroys the thing entirely. But little else comes to the effect.
UF Ship Commando (UFSC) : There we go, all airplanes come in. I repeat. Dock immediately. The turrets took out 1/3 of our planes. Impressive. This ship is outdated...

Waaait, how did Draxor pound away at that thing for awhile while you came in and killed it in one shot? At any rate, good thing I'm not breaking into the rear turret, or you just destroyed a potential MA advantage.
4/5, almost have control of the turret.

Clock I do not want you controling my character please stop. I landed back at the base and got on a transport vechicle. From there, I took sniper postition to takeout any troops that had gotton past Memzak. When I finally got there, I switched from sniper rifle, to MMX machine gun.Firing, the driver drove over to Memzak. I got off the vechicle and continued firing with my sub-maching gun.

It was a legitimate trade off considering the turret took out 1/3 of my forces in 1 1 shot.
(Notes self that airplane formations are bad idea)
Considering rails travel in a straight line.
@fireball
I was not controlling your character. I was controlling the rail for RPG purposes. You are not a superhuman soldier. You get shot like the rest of us. Don't act invulnerable. Plus it's highly likely the rail would aim at you considering the damage you've done.

He was in a fighter jet. It would have more likely missed and even if it hit it would have damaged the plane and he'd eject out.
"Back online." I said to everyone.
"Sorry, my communications were offline for a bit, that pulse wave took me out, but it has a blind spot. directly behind it. I'll attempt to break into this one. (The one that is neither destroyed or being hacked)
*I attached a small bomb to the back and then ran and took out some more soldiers from behind them.*
"Lets hope this works." I said.
"Draxor, keep coming in from the flanks and keep up the good work." I said.

What? Do you know how fast a rail driver fires a projectile? It would have easily hit his Jet.
Likely of missed? It wasn't aiming for the jet. It was aiming for him.

The bomb explodes and the turret's shields are completely down!
The bomb's attacks are not disabled!

Righty ho, onward to 5/5, we have control of a minor turret, I repeat, we have control of a minor turret!
Also, since my post seems to have been eaten, I'll restate it: Controlling another's character, even for damage purposes, is bannable on many RP forums.

Yes, I would have to agree, Clock, please don't godmod other people... XD (But you can say that there was a super fast rail fired and that was just about to hit fireball and then let he himself let himself get shot. XD)
"Defences are down you say?" I said.
"Quick, take this gun down before it gets them back online!" I said.

Who am I controlling? If anything I am controlling the rail gun's ammunition. And only for RP value.

It's besides the point: You can fire it at him in an inescapable way, but it is he that has to decide his own damage.

Hmm, then for that...
What sort of damage would he want done? Surely most other shots would even be more deadly...

It's his choice. While for the sake of fairness he should take damage, he decides how much.

Shall we get back to winning this battle? Because after this we still have to lay siege to the actual outpost itself...
"Heh, thanks for attacking the gun, a little more and it'll be destroyed." I said to the group of three devastators attacking the weapon whos shield was taken down.
Est. Time of Destruction: 1/3
"Pie, I can't see from here, but can you tell me... How many of this weapons do we have left?" I said.
"Also, don't forget to use the Ultracomputer we build, even though it is far away, you can use it to attack the main Phoenix network, once we get in, while you weasel your way into other things while it's firewall is combating our brute strength attacks from the ultracomputers..." I said.
"But only once you have found a secure way in that is."
I then headed, whilst invisible again towards the phoenix troops and attacked form behind. Half of them didn't even see the knife flying towards them before they crumpled as it hit the back of their neck.
I looked up with savage glee to see another company of troops coming in my direction, obviously knowing I was there now. I took out the newly implemented rocket launcher.
"Haha, this should be fun." I said.

I should start on the next turret; with two turrets we'll have superior defenses here.

Draxor: All units, keep firing at the flanks, and slowly move into them as you deplete their numbers... We'll be needing all of the dead enemy bodies we can get. Their ammunition and guns will be of great use to us. Possibly, for attacking, but also available is the possibility that they can be placed in a weapons storage in the base (which probably has even more weapons) for defense. We will continue to fire away at the enemy forces, and may not be able to do much more then knock off a ton of soldiers. No serious injuries to any soldiers, at the moment. Over.

With the new anti-turret tech, I should be able to get in in two posts now. First post disables it.
1/2
Also, we can learn about the inner workings of the mechanisms. It isn't that the Phoenix aren't evolving techwise.

2/2.
We've got two turrets, one on each side of the battle. This should be pretty easy pickings.
