Chat Ban Appeal

And anyway, clearly I was mature on chat due to the fact that it wasn't even a question of maturity.

Hold it, hold it, hold it. I cannot see how swearing in your appeal thread will get you any closer to an unban.
Plus, due to my Ban Appeal Court Judge rights being revocated, I hereby reverse my judgement.

I'm guilty of "all charges" however, I did not know it was illegal.
I'm willing to accept a punishment of whatever is seen as fit, I WILL continue to contest an IP ban. I'm not here to argue what I did, I'm here because the punishment was too harsh.

You've proven in this thread that you are a flamer, a troll, and are abusive. You really think I care, of all mods? I wasn't even the one who banned you, so go plead your repulsively pathetic case to Veers, the one who did ban you. Come to think of it, two chat mods, along with Veers, all wanted you to REMAIN banned on the forum. Frankly, due to your clearly inflammatory and abusive nature, I am still entirely for the forum ban. But, thanks to Temporarily9, you got to stay on part of the community, despite Temporarily9 being CLEARLY outnumbered in the majority. After extensive debating and occasionally raging, the admins, mods, and chat mods came to a consensus: That you would be allowed on the forum, but permanently banned on chat. I greatly regret proposing even that, since you are so much of an ingrate that you flame the one person who PROPOSED you be spared on the forum, against my better judgment. All I've gotten in return from you is you cursing at me, flaming me, and demanding from me that I unban you, solely on the merit you HAD. You've made it clear that you do not respect any level of member, are bitterly disappointed that you aren't off scot-free for an undeniable violation of the rules, and refuse to accept the consensus of the staff body as a whole unless it fits your desire.
You no longer have any redeeming qualities, are extremely coarse and disrespectful, and show absolute disregard for any staff ruling that lies outside of your liking. Why should I let you off the hook, let alone the rest of the staff I would confer with?

Look, I don't care if cussing offends you, I have NO respect for YOUadmin or not, I would have a civil conversation with an admin willing to listen to me and THEN reply rather then going at me on EVERYTHING I POST.
Off topic: FOR THE RECORD, SLANDER IS IN FACT ILLEGAL.

You've sworn at me twice, and you think I am going to become nicer towards you? First off, what you did was indisputably illegal, in dozens of countries. Second, your original punishment was directly from protocol's defined measure, meaning we went strictly by the book. Third, and I refuse to repeat this AGAIN, I did NOT ban you, Veers did. Fourth, I was the one who proposed your forum ban be removed while keeping the chat ban. You STILL have a forum account, and frankly, the forum could use the activity way more that the chat. And what made you think I was an admin?

Reasons I thought you were an admin:
1. You seem to know EVERYTHING they discuss.
2.You act like it
3. Your ranking
Also, OH I'M SO SORRY! MOD NOT ADMIN, MOD.

1. I talk to them. As chat mod, I must communicate with them.
2. No, I don't. I act like a chat mod, and that's good enough for me.
3. My ranking doesn't indicate "admin" in any way.

You have a staff badge, sorry for assuming that that means mod.

de·i·ty [dee-i-tee] Show IPA –noun, plural -ties. 1. a god or goddess. 2. divine character or nature, especially that of the Supreme Being; divinity. 3. the estate or rank of a god: The king attained deity after his death.

Forum Deity is a normal rank. And you just double posted, which is against forum rules. I'll get someone to add the 5% warning. Try reading the rules, it seriously would help.

That's a post rank. And yes, slander isn't good, so sotp slandering Kurai. Pirating is obviously illegal. WHen I complained about the illegality when you tried to pirate me something, you just kept going. The only liar here is you, and I've by now lost any respect I ever had for you.

Alright lets straighten some things out here. Kurai, as being staff, you need to be able to keep your calm in situations like this (not calling you out, just some friendly advice). Secondly, cash, so far you've commited the following rule violations: - On Chat
- Spreading a link to pirated software (which is a permanent ban in itself)
- On forum
- Flaming
- Double posting
- False accusations
I believe there are several more, but that should be enough. You are lucky to not have been banned on the forum and are well deserving of a permanent ban, because pirated software can put the entire forum in danger if not handled correctly. Your justice has been served, now please stop arguing with the staff; they have done more than they should have for you. EDIT: And as you said in your defense, "I have not read the rules..." this is nobody's fault but your own.

So, IRFC, what evidence in your favor?

I thank you for the concern. It is very easy to become hotheaded in these situations. I held well against such open hostility and flaming, though.
I do agree on those infractions, and shall bring this to the admins' attention.

Actually, it only puts the entire chat at risk legally, but... yeah. I suppose a short ban on the forum until he calms down wouldn't be amiss. We already agreed that there wouldn't be a permanent one. What do the warnings add up to for all the individual offenses on the forum so far?

Post by monokr0me on Feb 15, 2011 3:08:01 GMT
Double Posting - 5% x2 Flaming - Risk varying x3 Complaining/Trolling - 10%
20% with a guess at 10% per flame, would be 50%. That's just the offenses I have recorded in this thread, I may have missed some though. EDIT: And 20% for swearing puts him at 60%.

Post by Qwerty on Feb 15, 2011 3:44:01 GMT
Alright, so that isn't a one-week ban even on the forum. As such we can give him the 60% as listed above, and leave it at that unless he continues.

My opinion on IRFC's warning level is:
Double Posting x2 = 10% Flaming/Trolling x 3 = 30% Swearing x2 = 40%
Total = 80%.
Chat warning level:
Discussing Illegal Sites/Illegal Activity: IP BAN
Total: IP BAN
Sorry if I overrated in any way, this is just what I counted.

No problem, Monochrome was just making counts on this thread of the various infractions and assigned values according to the rules. Double Posting Risk: 5% Overuse Of Swearing Risk: 20%Advertising Illegal Sites/Illegal Activity Risk: IP BANFlaming Risk: Can VaryComplaining/Trolling Risk: Post deletion, and 10% So, really, if you did indeed find two instances where he profaned too much, than yes, that would indeed bring him up to 80%. Thank you.

It depends on whether one would consider two instances "overuse". Maybe a compromise at 70?

Yeah, I'll agree to 70.

Who exactly did I falsely accuse of what?
Also, I'm LUCKY to have not been banned? I couldn't care less whether I was banned on this forum, I only use chat anyway, since that's gone, I'm only here to try and get it back.
FOR THE RECORD: Swearing two times in two different posts is NOT excessive.

I haven't slandered anyone. I sent Kuraikiba777 (Kuraikiba on the forum) a Chatango PM (private message) "You can't ban me on assumption." He responds in chat saying that I threatend him, that is not a threat, it's a fact.

IRFC, you're pretty much in no position to swear at anyone here. Settle down and let's have an actually civilized debate without you blowing your top at every post against you. If you don't care, you push your warning level up higher and higher every double post you make. It's called modifying. If you only want the chat here, you can just go off to any chat you want on any other forum. Don't flame us here.
NOTE: I counted 1 triple post and 4 triple posts in the entire thread. Try counting again.
