I think there should be a Representative staff rank. Representatives would be able to bring up new proposed rules and discuss them. Anyone can work for a Representative. However, people would need to run campaigns to be elected. If added, I think these people should start as Representatives:
Owned By Glove [Rules board] izacque [Skin changes board] Memzak [Head Representative] kuraikiba [Administrator Oversight] Rock [Member Boards board]
Representatives serve for 1 year.
Also: I nominate Kuraikiba to be promoted to administrator.

Anyone already can bring up a new rule and discuss it with others, regardless of whether the person is staff or not. I don't see a need to have representatives.
Also, although I admit to a conflict of interest on account of being an Administrator myself, I don't think a fourth person should be made an administrator. We need an odd number of administrators so that one can act as a tie breaker in the event of conflicts amongst the remaining administrators, and we can't have one administrator because that would be outright totalitarianism. The number also has to be small in order to reduce inefficiency. Three is the smallest odd number that isn't 1, and so we have 3 administrators.

As flattering and odd as proposing I become admin is, I'd need to be reinstated as chat mod first. Even then, I'd still need to be mod first. I have no illusion of ever becoming staff, because I'm positive many more qualified people exist. Even if I was offered the position, I'd decline. I've been an admin on a forum before, and it's not terribly fun. Besides, all I'd want is to be Forum mod and Chat mod. That's all I need to keep myself nice and busy.

We have no need for this. Anyone that wants to do so can suggest any rule at any time. Also, Kurai (no offense) is one of the last people I would consider to be an administrator.

Oh, none taken. Frankly, as I said, I don't want to be one. The upper floor of my aspirations would reach Forum mod. Besides, I'm fairly sure this is some indirect way of flaming me. I've seen him talk down to me, about a ban I didn't even do, no less, like he thinks he's God. Now, he's bowing at my feet and venerating me? Seems very sketchy to me. Also, isn't it odd he thinks I should be watched by admins, yet BE an admin? I really don't know what you think about this, but honestly Temp, I think he's trying to either imply something or take a shot at me.

It could be that, or it could be him trying to make up for being previously mean. It could go either way on that one.

And it's the second option: Me making up for my meanness. Which explains the coin in my sig.

As I've said, he's given me orders like he owns me. He was doing his normal "pretending to have authority" thing not long before this thread. In fact, he stopped (sort of), once I told him I got him barred from staff hirings. Of course, he started back up, and tried to make some big proclaimation about some rot in some thread. I'm very hesitant to believe he has abandoned his way, because he still is doing his Dan-ball begging Schemes.

Also, I have the right to ask for donations.

My point is clear: Quit the charade, and put your point out clearly. either you hate me or you don't, but of all the people that don't like you, I fail to see how I become a target.

Are you sure about that last statement, Kuraikiba?

I don't see how, in any way, nominating Kuraikiba is supposed to make up back for being mean, considering that Kuraikiba doesn't even want the position.

And that I didn't do any of his smites. Now, what I'm curious about is what Veers is insinuating about me.

Kurai, you have an odd knack for getting people to hate you. Hate against everyone from white people to scientists to gun users is no way to make friends. If you don't realize this now might be a good time to do so.

Gun users... that's a long story. Not scientists... I just hate unsubstantiated claims with vapid proof.
Yeah, I realize people hate me. But they always will.

After reading the Artifact123 thread the other day, and now this thread, I'm getting suspicious of this karma system.

Why? Spark has done some... less than respectworthy things. Trolls spam smites and exalts are sorted out. However, Art was spam smiting more than he was spam smited. Meaning the trolls were compensated. What goes around, comes around.

Kurai, can't help but notice you failed to address white people. You do hate white people, you have admitted that. That's a pretty solid reason for people, Spark included, to hate you.

Wait, what if he isn't white?
And, it's more that I hate what they STAND for.

You don't have to be white to hate racists, must like you don't have to be gay to hate people that hate gay people. Take the Civil Rights movement in the US. There were a LOT of white people marching alongside black people in that movement. The white people weren't black. They weren't being hated. They simply knew that that kind of racism was wrong.
Presumably what you believe the white race stands for is, in itself, racism. So, if you hate racism so much, why exactly are you so racist?

...and so we get away from the point that no, we do not need a staff rank for doing what users can already do whenever they want, and that no, we do not need more administrators, let alone a single overwatcher of administrators, which in so doing, puts someone at a totalitarian position...

We seem to get along just fine from what I've seen. I see no inter-admin personal gripes to deal with. Still, we need three in the event something does happen, so there can be an easy majority.
