PTiB will come back. You can obviously tell because he came on to the PGCB.

He has an IP ban here. No IP ban there. If he does come back (and, more importantly, continues trolling) the ban gets extended and so on and so forth until he's permabanned.
Mach, anons get a lot less leeway. They have no warning bar, so even a small warning has to be replaced with a temporary ban. Of course, this ban is shorter than the 100% warning bar ban. If he were to make an account, that wouldn't be an issue, but he didn't.

I do believe this goes in the Non Dan-Ball Games board, not the Powder Game board. Be it as it may, Powder Toy does have many features that Powder Game doesn't - I realize that. If I'm correct, Powder Toy can even be played offline once downloaded. That alone should be desirable for a majority of users. I'm willing to bet many people would like the kind of things Powder Toy has as opposed to Powder Game, but I also know for a fact (because I happen to be one such person) that there are people who might think Powder Toy is a little too complex of what should be a relatively simple sandbox. What if we like only having Fighter, user-controllable Players 0 and 1, Ant, and Bird as our only life forms, and prefer instead to make the many permutations of our natural and artificial elements and their reactions with each other? What if all we want to do is waste some time for a little while? What if all we want to do is draw some pixel art, or make a Player course, or create calculators, and upload them to the Web where others can view both spam and art? Have you ever considered that maybe someone doesn't have to give up one game for the other game? Why can't a user play with both Powder Toy and Powder Game? Why can't a user get inspiration from both games and decide how each other game should be updated? Each game has its advantages and disadvantages, and whether something is an advantage or a disadvantage will vary from person to person, but because of this relativity, I believe that no game can be better than another. Neither is Powder Toy better than Powder Game, nor is Powder Game better than Powder Toy... PLEASE DON'T BAN ME I'm just stating my opinion and don't blame me if this thread is old. I haven't played powder game but I have to say this. . . POWDER TOY IS BETTER Just kidding XD It doesn't matter if you like one or the other. Fringe Pioneer summed up my thoughts perfectly tho, nothing else to say.

I think we are all missing the point here Both tpt and pg have thier pros and cons. But it depends on which way you look at it. Pg is designed for younger audiences, and thus has less confusing more fun elements like bird of fish Tpt may be a ripoff but it is designed for the more intelectual mind, or one whom is intending to learn more about the physical world. I rest my case

I was like most of you before. I always thought powder toy was a rip-off of powder game, which it is. But I recently downlaoded today because I was bored and wanted to finnaly see it after a few months of coming to dan ball. I downloaded it. It is SO much better then powder game. Here are reasons. 1. There are around 10 times as many elements. 2. Anything you guys suggest here that never made it into powder game, made it into powder toy. 3. WAY more bg's 4. Unlimited uploads 5. More updates 6. Better graphics. 7. More players to control. 8. No noobs 9. In powder game, ha55ii has the next 20 updates already for PG already done, but he releases them slowly to keep you guys coming back to see what the update is. In powder toy they add updates right after they make them. 10. No java required. You might hate me for posting this, but PLEASE just try powder toy once Shut the fuck up you powder toy fanboy piece of shit--Danball for life yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I'm with him on this, not gunna lie, finding this thread again is rather impressive. xD ...just to sate my curiosity, does anyone know if any other Falling-Sand-Style games have been made in the last, well, 6 years?

We should consider the powder toy's and powder game's features and/or abilities...
the powder toy and powder game will be referenced as TPT and PG.
First, TPT is GPL, aka, open source, you can mod this however you want, but be weary, this is for people that know a bit of C++ and anything programming related, not for people who don't know how to use Scratch (a programming language for kids).
Second, PG is small and portable, which makes it easy to load and run on devices with javascript.
Third, PG is online-only, aka, requires an internet connection, there are also more elements on their website than in their mobile app.
Fourth, TPT can be played offline, but it requires you to download it.
Fifth, TPT is desktop-only, there is an unofficial iOS release (some random guy charging $2 for it) and an official in-beta(?) android release.
Sixth, TPT does have more elements than PG, but since people keep saying Ant, Bird, and Laser is the best, I will elaborate on these game's elements. PG's Bird element isn't very good, i've tried using it, and Ant is nice, it makes nice patterns, but Laser can be colored, which is pretty good, it can "block" elements. TPT's life elements can be used for heating/cooling, you can do electrolysis with water, you can make water from oxygen and hydrogen, there's heat, gravity, and pressure/air simulation too.
Seventh, i've heard that TPT gets 25-30 fps while PG gets 35-45 fps or something like that, this is based on hardware, not software, for some people the web-based PG is faster than TPT (not web-based), for me on my 2007 Toshiba Satellite M305D-S4829, I get 30+ fps on TPT and 15-20 fps on PG, the Toshiba Satellite M305D-S4829 runs Debian 10, aka, Linux.
Eighth, TPT and PG have their own pros and cons, if you want more complexity, a lot of features, and moddability, go for TPT; while if you want simplicity, a decent amount of features, and good mobile support, go for PG.
Ninth, don't act like 3 year olds when someone says TPT is better than PG because it has more elements, or that PG is better than TPT because it has Bird, Ant, and Laser. They're saying why they prefer one game over the other because it has something that caters more to them than the other game, you can debate that and so can they, but don't throw curse (or cuss (either way, you know what I mean)) words at them, if you are offended by it don't say anything at all if it doesn't break any rules here. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion here.
TENTH, don't act immature, like saying "FU CUZ U SAID TPT BETTER THAN PG", I already explained in the the above reason, it just makes you look immature
