A long time ago, there was a contest. The contest was simple: Create a program, in any language, consisting of 100 lines or less. ShortCakes (or maybe Frogmaster, I forgot which) entered a simple application called "Tree War". Basically, it simulates different tree species as they evolve in order to outcompete the other species. Later she released a version called "Tree War Advanced", which is more advanced.
Essentially, what I am proposing is this. There are seven tree colors in the simulation, and each starts at about 14 percent of the whole. The idea is that different people sign up for each color and bet Dan-Balls on the colors. The proportion of trees at start to trees at end is the proportion that they gain or lose dan-ball-wise. I'd either livestream the battle or take a series of pictures, and it would last 15 minutes. At the end of 15 minutes, it is paused and the final percentages are taken.
Alternately, people can challenge each other. They decide on a specific amount of DBs to each place in the pot per tree. Any trees not bet upon are ignored, and at the end of the time the proportion of trees to each other determines who gets how much money.
This should be somewhat interesting as a random betting method. People can actually see other people's trees taking land from theirs and/or dying due to theirs in what beyond the surface is a nice and complex system.
The colors are Green, Red, Blue, Purple, Black, Yellow, and Orange.
Also, when you post to ask for a color, please specify not only how many DBs you wish to bet but what type of betting you want. Proportional is less risky, but all-or-nothing leads to higher gain.
Green:
13 - Nmagane
Yellow:
2 - Priok
