The Sniper class is a ranged class that uses bows that can shoot arrows at very, very fast speeds and forces. Even though they don't have the highest damage-dealing ability, they're notable for the large range they enjoy, making them the farthest back in the army, raining arrows on troops guarded by the other classes. They typically take small amounts of energy for their special attacks, and they have similar-typed bows.
They have a locking bar on the arm that holds the bow- when the arm fully extends and the bow is stretched, the bar locks into a straight bar and unlocks when the arrow is fired. This allows less effort in holding the bow at max pull and keeping it steadily aimed. The other arm has some more rods than usual, to allow for pulling of the metal cable to higher pull levels. The Sniper also has a targeting system, which means a mask which locks targets and has suggested arc of fire. Like all other classes, the Sniper has three packages. The STR package increases the rod strength in the pulling arm of the sniper, which lets htem power the arm more to further pull back the cable- this allows for longer range. The DEX package increases the dexterity of the holding arm's rods, allowing for more precise shots, which do more damage. The MAG package increases the power and efficiency of the MP Motion-Power device, letting secondary attacks take less shots.

Easily identifiable by its neon red hue, the training bow is a weapon specialized to prevent damage to whatever it's fired at. The bow's metal cables (which it only has so it doesn't snap), unlike other bows, won't snap back with power, instead the thing functions like a normal bow. The arrows are small and padded, withou a real point, so that it simply bounces off of other rangers. It's used in pre-deployment, pre-mission and routine training.
The standard-issue bow of the Ranger Corps, the bow has a metal cable which when let go of, uses pistons to pull it back at a frightening speed, loosing the arrows at insane velocities that can punch throygh kevlar and even poke holes in metal. The arrows themselves are polycarbonate with a steel core, so they maintain just the right amount of weight while being able to do significant damage on hit and not break. However, even as powerful as it is, it's usually ditched when the next weapon becomes available, although the drop in difficulty rating in the VERSUS simulator is often exploited.
