Borderline Science is an applied science company that does research and provides solutions from Science for private and governmental clients. Borderline Science relies primarily on funding from governmental clients such as the United States DoD, much like its two competitors, but is essentially happy to get money in whatever way. This now includes receiving investments from the public by selling a say in how the company runs.

I would be interested in buying a portion of this company's shares, if they were to go up for sale.

I might be interested as well, if the stock history looks good enough, as well as considering how many shares were put for sale...

I thought I had established the stocks after closing took place? The New York Stock Exchange certainly seems to start tradings at 9:30 EST and end tradings at 16:00 EST of every weekday, and I put this thread up well into the weekend relative to EST, where the NYSE takes place...

General, this isn't the New York Stock Exchange, it's the Phoenix Exchange. Trading happens round-the-clock. Company values are updated daily using the closing price of the previous day.

Recalculating Value. Last closure was at -0.29% 4800+(5*-1.45)=4730.1 Company now valued at 1430.1 4730.1/1200=3.94175 Shares now valued at 3.94175 each Has this been calculated correctly? Why is it that I have (5 * -1.45) added to my company worth instead of (5 * -0.29)? Also, where does the 1430.1 come from?

I displayed it incorrectly, but the math is correct. I modified the post, so it should make sense now.

Please pardon the double post as I recalculate the stock prices.
Recalculating company value: Last closure at 1.45%
4730.4 * (1 + (5 * 0.0145)) = 4730.4 * (1 + 0.0725) = 4730.4 * 1.0725 = 5,073.354 Company now valued at 5,073.354 Dan-Balls.
5,073.354 Dan-Balls / 1200 shares = 4.228 Dan-Balls per share Shares now valued at 4.228 Dan-Balls each.
