I like it. It presents logistical problems, but fuckit, it's good to have all this information in one place.
Maybe add more information, like available stocks in each company? Do you mind if I modify your post some?

Not at all, the entire point was to make the exchange more convenient for users.

Here is the code to a bookmarklet that should make data collection easier, although it seems it takes it from a page that Google doesn't desire to update immediately. pastebin.com/gEV1VR9wJust create a new bookmark, but instead of putting in a URL, put in the code snippet instead. Then click the bookmark. If you're on the expected page, it tells you the information; otherwise, it asks which exchange and company you want information from and then redirects you to that page. The bookmarklet isn't in its ideal condition: if it were, it would make sure you were at the correct site, not just make sure the site has a DIV element with an id of "prices," (done) and a better version would also proceed to extract prices after it redirects you to the correct page rather than expecting you to re-execute the bookmarklet (tried and can't be done). I have also yet to implement a feature where it will make sure the information in the table is outdated, i.e. the latest closing price listed is more than a week old...

Global Stock Tree requires updates, which it doesn't seem to have been getting for a bit.

Yes, I apologize for not having put your companies back up after you had me close them and remove them from the board as opposed to simply changing the values listed on the board.
Anyhow, as inconvenient as it is, I will probably wait until the NYSE weekend to update the Global Stock Tree...

This is a lot of work, you should get more people to work on it. This could be a rather large part of the forum if you made it convenient enough for the bankers.
