For both VS mode and PvE, compo items are one of the biggest factors in determining the strength of a team. Here's some ideas I have about new items:
Stones:
none (after all, there are no more ways to add SP)
Crystals:
Green Crystal - A combination of Silver and Purple. It gives a little bit of magical and physical defense.
Jewels:
Onyx - A jewel specifically for increasing the power of the bullets of magical physical weapons. I don't believe there's an item for that.
Lapis Lazuli - Increases how long ice lasts. The default time is 10 seconds so it could make it like 12, 15, etc.
Opal - A unique jewel that increases the ATT. power of all types, but with very little boost. It makes a 'rainbow' aura that surrounds members of your team close to the character holding the item.
Amber - Increases the size of fire and heat clouds so it has a bigger radius.
Jade - Increases the size of poison projectiles and affecting how long they last.
Cards:
Shield card - Increases DF by x% and decreases ATT. by x% (opposite of Beserk's card).
Ninja's card - All characters walk at that same slow pace so this could increase their speed. This would be great for weak VS characters.
Multi's card - Weapons with under 50 range that are meant for ranged characters(such as priest, gunner and angel weapons) get a slight boost in ATT. and number of bullets/rings if any.
Rocket's card - Increases speed of projectile/bullet by 25%, 50%, 75%, etc.
Reflect's card - 1-3-5-7% of Damage dealt on opponent. - Likep
Bungee's card - Whippers Equivalent to the Long Sword's Card - Likep
Bounce's card - Gives a bullet or a shot a x% chance of bouncing off the terrain infinite times. - Rapidbadger
Fatal's card - Increases attack by x% but increases AGI. and lowers range. - Likep
Sentry's card - Would greatly increase the range of a ranged unit, but would remove the ability to move it. - alchmistfaust
Joker's card - Would increase a VERY small amount of every stat for the user, including bullets, range, etc. - alchmistfaust
Elimination's card - When activated, it releases a cloud that kills any enemy it touches, excluding bosses. Has extremely small chance of activation. - alchmistfaust
Medals:
Platinum medal - To increase the drop rate of only gold. The Gold Rush Card is by hits, not increasing the general drop rate, so this would be different.
Copper medal - Placed along another item that has a certain chance of activating like a spirit, it increases the chance of the of the item's effect occuring by 5%, 10%, etc. - Anonymousperson5
Charms:
Fire charms - A lot of the enemies are fire type in game, and many people use fire in VS too so this would be useful. This would also include Heat attacks.
Spirits:
Poison spirits - Similar to the other types of spirits. It could release cloud of poison after death of an enemy, or something along those lines for different levels.
Ice spirits - Each level would have a different effect such as releasing a high damaging snowflake with splash dmg or ice spikes that travel along the ground. -Likep
Idea for an Item Classes:
Mines - The opposite of spirit. When one of your stickmen die, they release an extremely powerful attack that has different affects for different types of mines. This could be used as a last resort or for taking risks to beat bosses or rival teams.
Familiar - An almost pet-like creature that follows the character it is attached too. It attacks every certain number or hits and requires nothing to attack a weak ranged attack. These attacks are determined by its type (fire, poison, thunder, etc). It also is not affected by corresponding jewels but certain familiars can be improved by increasing your stats. Also, when the familiar is damaged you are, and when you die it dies. In a way, you are share your LP. Its appearance would be an entirely circular orb with wings or a body like a dragon. Its size would dependent on its level and its type would determine its color. This class would be useful for both types of characters and could be used in many other cases. It also has the annoyance of sharing LP so it doesn't get OP. - alchmistfaust
Feel free to suggest new items or ones that would fit better. Also, please tell me your opinion on the few items above!
