This is the image that I took with my iPhone: And this is what it looked like after editing a bunch of stuff, on my iPhone. It was meant to have kind of an old camera look, and I brought out the colors in the cow a little bit and grayed the background. I also added a highlight from the sun to give it even more of that old camera look. And I put the frame, too. I'd say that's not bad seeing it was taken AND edited on an iPhone 3G. Tell me what you think plez.

It doesn't really look very old, it just looks like it has some red/orange transparency laid over it, and some of that edge burning stuff. I think the edges are way too dark, they do not need to be so dark.

How does it not look like a shot an old vintage camera would take, other than the edge?

the hues look a little "ranbow-y" so it looks like it was taken on crappy film. I'd say that you should try to keep the hues closer together and decrease the overall saturation. Add tasteful noise and less vignetting.
