How about the challenger badge, which you haven't paid much attention to?

What about a Completionist badge, for showing proof of having beaten every current SR stage? Damn, that game needs user logs.

The problem with that is that it has no constant challenge, and it is easy to just cheat through. It should certainly be consistent, but beating the game now and beating the game after the next megaboss are two totally different things.

Ah, good point... Maybe for having completed all levels up to a certain point, like the Submarine Shrine?

Nah, updates can still change that. New weapons, new classes, etc. Plus the cheating aspect is still there.

Eh. I didn't really think the idea through.

Yeah, that's the "idea" badge, or at least it's a good start for the idea badge.

Don't worry, Techmyst is new and is probably Jaton from Powder Game, who can be a bit unpredictable at times.

It should certainly be consistent, but beating the game now and beating the game after the next megaboss are two totally different things. You mean this? It's not referring to it, and I don't see a thing in the last few pages. *searches frantically for a response to the challenger badge*

No, that was about the SR completion badge. Challenger is fine, although a bit close to Artsy or GA to me.

Mm, k. I don't know about that one. I have a new idea! Overachiever: achieve at least 5 badges a second time; ergo, advertise a second time, be well-rounded at another time, get 20 karma, get 20 respect votes, recruit two people, show knowledge twice, get 3 votes on ten uploads, win a second contest, have 2K posts, etc. Alfhough it wouldn't work for staff badges, cookie badges, or the shopper badge.

That actually sounds like a decent and unique badge. Gives people a reason to come back after they've accomplished them.

OYEAH. That reminded me of a winning streak badge I wanted to suggest, for winning the last three contest you've entered.

Uh...So is overachiever approved? And maybe we should call it doubler, or something like that.

The Overachiever Badge sounds like a very motivating badge to prevent those who already earned most of the badges from doing nothing. I must say, though, that "Overachiever" sounds better than "Doubler'...

Call it "C-c-c-COMBO BREAKER!"

Post by QwertyuiopThePie on Nov 21, 2011 7:55:24 GMT
As it has nothing to do with breaking combos, no...

Post by Zrined on Nov 21, 2011 8:00:43 GMT
Well, you don't break a combo but you start one xD

So...it's approved, correct? Well, seeing as I had many ideas in this thread, e.g. Traveler, this itself, Challenger badge, then I have ideas down.

This could be the badge for AP5's idea if it's approved. EDIT: This looks a little better.
