If a topic like this is not allowed, then I will just make individual ones for every time I make a new picture. But anyway, I made this for my birthday, today: It's 11 colors, I think I can probably remove one, but I didn't really feel like revising it at the time I finished.

You should do some graphics for a game. I mean seriously, if I could do that...

Thanks, I have done some work on games, but I do not really know enough at the moment to really make one, but I am learning, slowly.

Do you feel like creating a few graphics for a game of mine?

Oh, you're making a game? Are you programming it, or something of the sort?

Thanks for the comments, sorry about the late response, I sort of forgot about this, I think I went somewhere for a while. I will try to help a little bit, if you still need any, Satar Gaéoédoæ. Anyway, here's something I've made recently, I kind of forgot to post it on here, but I made it for a contest. I was too late for it, though, because I started the night before it was due. I think it is about 20 colors, or something.

I think it's the best pixel art you ever made. And from the writing at the bottom, it took you 29 hours? If so, no wonder it's so amazing. I don't have to patience to work on something that long. I might be able to make something like that in a few months. Anyways, great job on that.

Thanks, I do not think it is my best, but thanks. Also, I think it probably took me about 5-10, I made it for a contest called 24hrs de Pixel, or something, I think it had to do with some 24 hour race cars.

Oh, I see. Either way, it's at least your best pixel art of the cars. I've seen the other ones you've done; this is your best.

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. I FINALLY FOUND SOMEBODY ELSE THAT SHADES COLOURS INTO THE BACKGROUND AT THE EDGE OF LINES. Oh, and, Priok, epic art.

Thanks! It was originally going to be aurora, but I was doing it on a white background, so it looked sort of weird, then I decided to just make it be something like this.

It's absolutely brilliant, but I don't see how it can work as an aurora...

Thanks, it wasn't finished at the time I was considering it, so I decided to try making it some other thing.

Sorry for the double post, but here's another thing I've made: It's a statue of somebody kneeling, I guess it is for the Halloween holiday.

The light shines onto the solid statue. It appears to be kneeling down, and with one hand over its chest, with the other hand against the face.
Very nice.

... are all your comments just going to be about how many colors he used? I do not care if he used 16 million colors, these are good works.

Actually, in pixel art, you're much more respected if you're able to make a cool piece with a low amount of colors. So ya.

Post by priok on Nov 4, 2011 3:52:31 GMT
You're not really more respected, it's more of just the art work is considered better, or something like that, because it was more difficult to make. I don't really care about color usage, I just try to not over do it, it's just for fun, anywhom.
I'll try making something else, soon, I might remake an oil painting I made recently, or just something else.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Not the artist himself is more respected, but the piece...

Plus it has a certain... touch, when there's only a few colours altogether.

Sorry for the bump, or whatever. Here's something I made, for some event. I didn't really try very hard on it, I just wanted something for the event.
