"Your boat won't hold together for long. I do assure you will be safe in there, although my word seems to be... Under suspicion. But I do give you the benefit of doubt. You will certainly die here, or you can believe that you won't die with me." Yorick points theatrically to the open passage.
"What a man knows not, he to use requires, And what he knows, he cannot use for good. "

Yorick smiles a faint, slightly upset smile. "You don't. And I can make it certain to you all that your friend is not lost. I have been present on this world far too long to understand about mistrust, about abandonment, about surmise. There is no possible way of knowing that I am not going to hurt you, and given the current circumstances, the most I can offer is my word. Mind you that his army is a brainwashed one, and that I am within your very noisy device that blocks its effects. As I said, I know about mistrust. I wouldn't trust a man like that. I beg you a chance."
"What a man knows not, he to use requires, And what he knows, he cannot use for good. "

"...It might. The passage works as a tunnel, thus, it has only one end, currently placed in my island. There could be a way. If you took the exit and put it in the place you want to be, you would have an easy passage to it whenever you would like, that can only be accessed at my command. In any case, you would need to get out of here."
"What a man knows not, he to use requires, And what he knows, he cannot use for good. "

"It's a bit far from here, it's outside the archipelago and it seems to have not been noticed by whoever is taking over this place. However, I do have decent transport and resources, besides, I also have... Reinforcements, if you'd like to call it that."
"What a man knows not, he to use requires, And what he knows, he cannot use for good. "
August: Martin, think Ima could hold together this boat a bit more? I think it may be worth planting this exit on the shore of the island and going through to this guy's island.

"It will be quick. But, to go through this passage, you need to offer your blood." Yorick puts his hands in his pocket inside the robe and takes out a needle, offering to August.
"What a man knows not, he to use requires, And what he knows, he cannot use for good. "

August is transported to Yorick's memories, in which he sees a red cross with a name in it. "Gretchen", says the cross, with a date of birth of 1546, and the date of death risked out in a erratical way. He sees that below the red cross is a tomb, made of marble. The whole thing is taking place in a dimly lit, cathedral-like place. Yorick prays the "ave maria", quietly. He is interrupted by someone entering the place abruptly. Yorick looks back, sees one of his undead servants calmly and slowly speaking to him in latin for a while. The servant carries a scythe with Herme's snake helix carved in it's wooden handle. The servant speaks and leaves. Yorick gets up from his knees, drinks a vial of a dark blue substance and throws the glass container on the ground, shattering it. He proceeds to move outside, then, to the shore, where he goes up a raft which slowly starts to move.
"You now know my burden and my pain. Everything about my work is blood. Is life. Or death." Yorick stares blankly to the face of his new acquaintance. Then, raises the needle to him again. "I am sure you would give your blood to your friend. Then, for him, I beg you to do it."

August: Right then, we're gonna need Martin and Veers to stay behind to transport the exit to the shore, and I can make the prick painless to anyone that does go. Anyone?
August touches Glove, then relays a telepathic message.
August: We need this guy's trust. Badly. I already know he isn't with the enemy, and so long as we stay under the range of the machine we should be fine. if the island is off the archipelago, it'll be the most safe place to plan our next move.

Meanwhile, Yorick enters his home. 2 undead guards with cross-hilted swords made of bronze protect the entrance. Their flesh is exposed in some parts, for the art of necromancy hasn't been perfected. Yorick slowly walks towards them. They salute him. "Quo vadis?", says one of them. "Ad alchimia officinarum.", answers Yorick. He begins to follow him. Yorick walks slowly, until finally reaching the laboratory and, from a glass vial, drinking a substance, and finally recovering his energy. He gives 2 vials of a different substance to the guard. "Dare potionem ad fratrem". The guard salutes and leaves with a distorted smile. Yorick then proceeds to make 5 vials of a certain substance, which exudes a furious smoke from it. He puts a cork in each vial, and labels them "Ad Mephistopheles Interiore".
"I never thought one day I'd be thinking of offering this so gladly to anyone but myself. But lest them fall... It might be an exit. A final exit."
"What a man knows not, he to use requires, And what he knows, he cannot use for good. "
August sees nothing but void. The void, however, feels intense, as if a great pressure was being applied from inside his head. A quiet humming is heard in the nothingness, that begins to get louder and louder until it is finally a deafening wail. The guard then tries to bite August, and, failing to do so, tries to hack him with his sword.
"PROHIBERE!". Yorick is behind the guard. "Prohibere." The guard freezes in it's menacing position, as if a statue. After a few moments, he falls to his knees in a submissive position. Yorick touches his head, and he returns to his initial guarding stance along with his colleague.
"These are not men. These are not animals. They are things. They remember nothing, for they have no conscience, no memory. It is what happens to the risen. For a long time I have tried to perfect my arts, so as to revive a person, and not a monster.... A loved one." Yorick quickly turns around and starts walking. "Do follow me."
"What a man knows not, he to use requires, And what he knows, he cannot use for good. "
"Well, to put in your words, one of them controls ink, one of them built a noisy device that prevents mind manipulations, and that you seem to read minds. I know but what I learn'd, and that's all I know. That also makes me wonder where they are in this present moment. Ah, but anywho, I have a thing to show you..."
The air is serene and daylight glows strong. The sand is very dry, but a few palm trees seem to rise on the insides of the island. They pass by a small, simple house, a chapel and, finally, go into a shadowy place, where the laboratory lies. They enter the small, circular building and, over a wooden table, lies a complex system of beakers and other scientific apparatus, made of glass. Besides one collection of flasks, a strong dark red substance is seen in 4 vials. One seems to be missing. Yorick disguises his worry. "Oh my. Do... Do pardon me, I..." Yorick quickly drinks another flask of dark blue. "So. You see, cointained in these glasses are a strong elixir. Strong enough to kill you. Or... Revive you. That is what most elixirs do. However, there is no miraculous potion of ressurection, thus, each has it's side effects. This one... Well, let me say that it revives the inner demon inside of you. But this inner demon also destroys his carnal container in little time, so use it wisely. It can only be drank when you are mortally wounded. To apply it in a cadaver will cause... Strong problems. Take one with you, and leave the rest to your friends. Where are they, by the way?"

"What a man knows not, he to use requires, And what he knows, he cannot use for good. "
Yorick looks calm. He takes a look around the place, quickly, as to try to locate the lost vial. He sighs. "Well... If your friends are under attack, we must go back. I currently have 3 risen servants in here, the two you saw in the entrance, and another one that watches the cathedral, and sometimes, I leave at my home. I do need more, however, so if those enemies have a physical body, do not damage it." He begins to hurry, taking a bag which contains a platform, a dagger, and several vials with multicolored substances and herbs. He gets 3 vials of the dark blue substance, looking at one through the light. He smiles. "As to why I consume those... It is because I consumed too much. I will leave that open to your interpretation."
(OOC: It would be really nice if there were more people in this game. Damn, It's a shame that it's kinda dying.)

"What a man knows not, he to use requires, And what he knows, he cannot use for good. "
August: Yeah, they've got physical bodies. We have someone that both knows how to block out Temporarily9's influence and also cause spontaneous death in someone without damaging the body, but as we speak he is being turned into a weapon to be used against us. Now everyone on that boat has gone strangely silent. I've been staying closer to the device than they, and we've been moving closer to T9... maybe the device isn't as effective as we thought it was as close range. If it's down... By now they've almost reached the shore. For all we know they're incapacitated. We have to hurry!
OOC: So, yeah, for people ignoring the thread, now is your chance to rejoin the thread lest you be killed in the ensuing battle. I'll give it three days and try to contact the people, but until then they're in a Temporarily9-induced coma. After that, an accident happens and they... cease to require control. I'll give them the possibility of rejoining, just not in an advantageous position.
Oh, except for David. If I can't contact him soon I'll have no choice but to temporarily assume direct control of his character.
August (thinking): What? They're gonna die because their controllers abandoned them?
Not die, no.
August (thinking): Caught by the Nonjas?
Yep, pretty much.
August (still thinking): Is this some kind of joke to you? These people are as real to me as your friend are to you, even if you think they're just creations of imaginative minds.
There's nothing I can do. If they don't control their characters, something has to happen in the plot to explain it.
Yorick shouts to the servants. "Venit hic!". The servants follow as fast as they can with their slow pace. They enter the passage, and as they walk through it, Yorick suddenly stops and whispers to one of the risen. The risen salutes and goes back to his guarding place. The other two follow him. Yorick hands a bright, glowing yellow vial to August. "Drink this if there are many of them. And until they are all dead, don't blink. If you do blink, stop breathing for 10 seconds. Then you can breathe normally."
OOC: tl;dr come back or your chars are my zombies now.
