Martin finds the situation ahead of him to be quite interesting. He decides to add a little touch of his own to the mix. He very slightly alters the picture held by the leader. By slightly, I mean he turned the picture into a big smiley face. He changes his mind on this however, and instead morphs the picture so that it shows T9 walking casually with a Nonja at his side. No Veers in sight.
I am the restless haunt of DBF.
I'm in ur walls, eetin' ur pilloes! So get away from mah corn! I'm in ur cornfield, WHISPERING IN UR EARS!!!
Leader: Why, you're right here! Or... wait... you were right here. Um... we may have had a bit of a massive misunderstanding. I could have sworn you were here...
(leader gives the picture back to someone, they carry it away)
Leader: Of course, you still have to explain why you came in here in a Nonja boat.
Raegus: Hey, could we talk of this somewhere else, say at a cafeteria somewhere? I'm hungry. Let's sit down and discuss this like civilized people. I'd rather not paint this lovely beach in blood. Probably my blood or Matthew's, but I'd rather not die on an empty stomach. Say, 你喜歡象棋嗎? 我喜歡象棋。我特別是像美國版本。 Wait, what? When did this happen? OOC: ADDING MORE STUFF DUE TO VARIOUS NONJA'D THINGS Raegus: Ah, that's simple. I was playing Powder Game on an island. Made a few epic cloud calculators too... did I save them? I don't think I uploaded either... Anyways, I met Johnathan on the way, then we got surrounded by Nonjas. Jumped off the building, knocked out a few Nonjas, and hijacked their boat. Nearly ran over Matthew, then David came on another boat and accused us of stealing his boat. It is your boat, right, not one you may have stolen off of, say, the Nonja's Treant of Teran? Matthew saved us from various nonjas that came, then we got here.

"Well, I helped, anyhow. Be it as it may, they stole a Nonja ship and we all fought off more Nonja ships. It's possible that a battleship and some smaller, armoured ship could have followed us, but we got pretty far away and haven't seen either of those ships. Anyways, we're looking for help from someone, I think David said his contact's name was 'Trent.' Do you know him?"
Leader: You were playing a game? But the only island with that kind of technology still functional is... Isla Isabela... That's within HIS reach! You say you were being followed by a battleship? And some other, smaller ships? Don't you realize you LED THEM RIGHT HERE?!? They know perfectly well the layout of these islands, and that this is the only one you could have headed to! This is very important, so you must tell me: did you hear any voices in your head while you were fleeing?
Leader: This is bad. This is very bad. He's interested in you, and if I know him it isn't for hugs and kisses. You mentioned Trent. He vanished awhile ago on a scouting mission, presumably captured by Nonjas.
Leader (to other rebels): Get to your posts! Sound the alarm! These idiots have led the battleship straight for us! Also, keep an eye on these guys. I still don't trust them.
The guards, guns still pointed at you, gesture for you to move inside their base.
Quick sketch of situation:
The battleship incident actually occurred about thirty miles west of that location, but whatever.
Isla Isabella and the path leading out of it should give you a good idea of the range of T9's telepathic powers. Only Isla Fernandina has his actual base, with greatly increased nerve control. His in-base equipment is increasing his powers a hundredfold (although his power when in the same room is about the same), so were he to leave there his powers would decrease greatly.
Guard: What, you don't think the base can send more ships to refuel them? They probably already have by now! It's coming, and with reinforcements. When people get into his reach, he NEVER lets them go. He won't stop hunting you down until you either join him or he captures you, and neither of those will end will for you. Now get in this cell, we have to fix what you've done.

"Well, the thing is, it's quite possible that they had reserve fuel on hand, in which case they could have pumped that in and used it. Even if they didn't, who's to say they didn't radio in for a fuel tanker or backup?"
Now would be a good time to note that you are surrounded by guards with guns. Not generic Nonjas that you can kill without thought, actual well-intentioned "good guys" that have merely mistaken you for the "bad guys". Besides, your cell has a window.
Guard: You most certainly are. Please don't make me use force. We can sort out who you are and what you represent after we fight off these Nonjas.
OOC: Is the window towards a hallway or the outside? And can it be opened? *Raegus enters the cell without complaint, except for one.* Raegus: Hey, is there any food around?

*Matthew went into the cell without a fight. Why would he try resisting when he needed their trust? This would also be a good time to ponder over who he was. Was he who they accused him to be?*
The window is towards the hallway. This isn't a particularly strong cell, just kinda put together with scrap metal and such. The window is closed and locked.
Guard: We've got some MREs we can give you if you cooperate and get in the cell.
"Look, if it weren't for us, you'd have 2 fleets coming here, not a half-fueled battleship and a few corvettes. if anything, we bought you a hell of a lot of time." David reasoned with the guard, "If you don't put us in the cell, let us fight."

Highly skilled users may be able to control their own Life-Force in order to live forever. Contrary to some belief systems Life-Force is usually invisible and contains no color, when manipulated properly the user may be able to contain it in a colored bacteria or energy.

Marcus is the leader of a small group of monks. His monastery is located within a range of volcanoes, although he uses his powers to keep a healthy environment for his monks. He rarely interfers with worldly affairs, and few are allowed d to visit or even view the monastery. The limits of his power are unknown.

"Oh good, we have some water now."
*Matthew - or was he General Veers? - doubled the number of water bottles and began to drink from one of them. He was a bit thirsty, after all. After drinking it all, he spoke to the others.*
"Well, they're fighting a battle out there while we're in here. If the battle we had was any indicator of the difficulty the Nonjas will bring, these poorly equipped men are going to be defeated. We need to help them fend off the Nonjas, and we need to help them rebuild their base so they can better defend themselves in future attacks. How do we go about doing so?"
Paying close attention to all the events that transpired I giggled briefly at the smiley face that a nearby ink manipulator caused to appear, before changing it to something more suitable. I also followed the group along the island and discovered not only where I am, but who's coming for them and why. I also noticed that the one known as Matthew seems to be able to double things... probably a form of quantity manipulation. The one with a bullet in his shoulder seems to be in a very good physical condition. There was also the one who wanted food and the one who wanted to fight, their powers are still unknown to me.
Feeling kind of bad for the bullet-wound-victim, I heal his shoulder to make him feel better. I also make a bowl or ramen 'accidentally' roll across the floor from down the hallway into their cell.

Raegus: Why not fill the nonja's ships with useless, heavy objects? If there are a lot of heavy ballast, the ship will sink. Or just copy the shell of the ship on top of the ship a couple times.
Post by Fringe Pioneer on Feb 13, 2012 5:35:00 GMT
"Well, I have to see where the ship is, and I would have to know where the ballast tanks are located in the ships. I can't really see much of anything from inside this cell or through its window. I could probably reduce the number of metal scraps to get out of the cell, but then there's the question of - no, if the guard here went away, I'm presuming all the other guards are also in the fight. Maybe we could escape with relative ease, but I need to build up their trust. Then again, would I be able to gain trust if I help the effort in spite of escaping their poorly designed cell?"
Raegus: Not necesarily ballast, just something ridiculously heavy. *hears various stuff explained in Tempy's post* Raegus: I think that we will gain more trust in attacking the nonjas right now.
Post by Fringe Pioneer on Feb 13, 2012 5:53:00 GMT
"You know what, at this point it would be unethical to not help with the effort."
*Matthew reduced the door to a small fraction of its original amount, allowing him and the others to get out. He then looked down the hallway and, seeing nobody there, went outside.*
