Every time after the map has benn wiped out of enemy, the rangers won't move.
How about making them able to walk to the next/map sign by themselves?

That sometimes messes with, say, if you want to make sure you collected all the items.

Rangers should be able to pick up most of them while advancing to "next" sign.
But If that map has two stories, then yeah, it can be a problem.

Mine rarely pick up most of them. Not to mention, sometimes you can go back and get onigiri that weren't needed the first time.

Items do drop to the ground, right? The "next" sign is on the right most screen, while rangers start at left most., they should be able to cover most of the ground while walking to the "next" sign. (With the notable exception of watery stages)
I'm not talking about skipping to the next screen as soon as all enemies are gone.
Anyhow, I think this can be a feature that can be turned on or off.

The point that Qwerty is making is that items can drop behind the rangers or they might skip/jump over them.
