Welcome to The Torture Chamber.

"Again, you are hallucinating these things. They are delusions! You are in a hospital, and restrained for your own safety! Oh what to do...you're both dehydrated and dying from disease... But dehydration could be potentially more dangerous."
So, I take an IV tube and have it inserted into your arm. The fluid in the IV bag is spiked with hallucinogenics, but it appears to simply be a saline solution. I give you a little water, then remove the tube.
"Oh god I hope this doesn't make this worse..."

Meanwhile, in the hidden parts of the torture chamber (all universes), Temporarily9 is talking with two Unknowns.
T: How is our research going into dimensional rifts? U1: Come on, T. You know perfectly well dimensional rifts are fiction. T: What's your number? U1: Unknown 241353. T enters the number and code into a small device. A laser pops out of the ceiling and vaporizes U241353. T: What was that about our research into dimensional rifts? U2: It's progressing quite nicely. We have contact with the labs of several other universes already. As a matter of fact, they are likely having the exact same conversation. T: Excellent. U2: However, we need access to a Nonja Fighter to complete the connection. T: Why? U2: The human brain is a complex system. It also happens to be exactly what we need to bridge dimensions. The Nonja Fighter in question would survive, but only in a vegetative state with minimal consciousness. T: That's no issue. They're Nonja Fighter scum. Anyone that enters this area of the base may never leave anyway. Are the facilities prepared? U2: Yes. T: Excellent. It's a shame I already ground up the one in the yellow cell. Prepare the holographic lava pit and be ready to receive the Nonja Fighter on the other end. Are the other universes ready? U2: No doubt. T: I'll send out a generic order to make use of the lava pit.
(OOC: First Nonja to send a Nonja Fighter into my specially prepared fake lava pit (they won't know it's fake, though) gets... well, nothing really. First Nonja Fighter to fall in gets to be experimented on a bit in the U-sec and have their brain used in a dimensional rift. Their actual mind will be transferred, though. Not sure what into yet, but it'll stay in U-sec unless they wanna make a new character.)

The NF Draxor of that world was placed into the lava pit, and suffered the consequences...
Wha, where are you taking me?! No, no, no...! AGH IT BURNS! Help!

(Second universe)
U2: Excellent.
Us jump on Draxor as soon as he's through the hologram. They force him into a small machine that holds him firmly in place while his head is opened and his brain wired up to the system. They signal for the other universes to do the same.

Draxor's Thoughts: ... Where am I? I'm too tired to open my eyes... I can't... It's so numb...
What's going on?

(OOC: The Us communicate with Draxor by directly beaming messages into his head.)
Do not panic. No, seriously, don't. It would mess up all our calculations. Your brain is being used as a neural network to calculate important computations in regards to dimensional rifts. The large box attached to your head is just a side-effect. It contains the somewhat preserved neural maps of other scum, which are being connected to yours. Expect a great increase in intelligence, a great decrease in mobility, and a newfound taste for fish. It's a side-effect: The other Nonja Fighters liked fish. Not like it'll matter to someone in your position, of course.
We do have to keep you alive, so expect IV Ramen. Yes, we've developed IV Ramen. It's best not to ask how. As we will require your brain to be completely taken by calculations during a dimensional rift, you will go completely unconscious during the process. Your body and mind will be constrained in a specially-designed life support crate at all times.
The Us show Drax an image of what looks suspiciously like Qwerty's crate from NGI.
Naturally, this'll only be done once we extract your mind, duplicate it, and plant it inside your clone, who will be sent to fill your place in the torture chamber. We do still need the location of your mind, after all. Now just relax and let us finish the process.
The Us do not copy his mind. They transfer it into his clone and leave his body there as a vegetable. The clone is sent back up to complete interrogation.
(OOC: Science fiction? Naturally. U-sec is far ahead of modern technology, even in the rest of the Nonja Base.)

So the clone has an increase in all of those features? Or was that a lie as well?

May I be of any assistance?

He gets a boost in intelligence and more importantly information about the hidden area (they were sloppy and didn't wipe his mind), but that's about it. Do continue torture.

Right, so...
Being Tortured Wait, what are you injecting into my... I'm a bit tired right now... This heat is also making me very... Tired... *falls asleep*
Torture AP5 refuses to reveal the location in such a state. If he doesn't give a good response or reveal it as such, I will expunge him from my queue.
As for the thread... Barely anyone wants to be tortured...
Neon, torture me. Lew, if you can get someone to torture, go ahead.

Well, I already revealed the location... LEAVE AP5 ALONE.
Okay, I've changed to a Nonja. Anyone for torture?

Ok, someone can torture me. I feel guilty with Drax having to do all the suffering, lol.
Torturing/Interrogating/Mindf***ing
I smirk slightly at the hard-headedness of the subject. I put several electrical nodes on his chest, which have very little power, not enough to stop a heart, or start one, for sure, but enough whammy to wake someone up. Then, I turn it on and bring him 'back to life'.
"Thank god, you went into cardiac arrest for a second there (obviously a lie, but you were asleep and drugged, deal with it). We managed to get your heart started again. Please, there is little time to lose, Mr.....Draxor."
(Strange, haven't I heard that name somewhere before? Ah, no matter.)

I had a dream, and my father told me to stand strong... You are not... Going... To get my information.

"Sir, that wasn't a dream. He told you to stand strong before you went into arrest. Don't worry, he wasn't in the room when it happened. But we still need that antidote location or you will not make it..."

If you're telling the truth, I'd like you to give me visual proof of this infection.
|
|
|
Post by Skribbblie on Sept 9, 2011 23:16:07 GMT
"Hmm, visual proof, this is a good sign. It means you've still got a little cognitive brain function left, asking for proof. You've already concluded that the MRI scan of your brain was 'fake', so I'll see if we have something a little more, well, organic to show, though I will need to go get more extensive biological hazard protection of myself if I do that. Excuse me, I'll be right back."
So I step out and ask a "nurse" to watch him and make sure he doesn't go into "arrest" again.

Thirteen days of torture... I remember now... They kept us awake for 13 days... They didn't let me escape... TORTURE, I TELL YOU.

The nurse politely asked, with a hint of feigned sympathetic interest, "Who tortured you?"

They called themselves the Syndicates, and that's all I know...
Please. Turn down the heat.

"I-I'm sorry," she said, faking surprise, "I cannot turn down the heat, or your disease will kill you even faster."
I then came in with a cart and a closed plastic tub. I dismiss the nurse, who whispers something in my ear. I nod, and she leaves.
"Now, you wanted physical proof? Well, I brought some, and it took a few tweaks of protocol from administration. I have brought a preserved brain of one of the deceased victims of this horrible contagion."
I open the tub and remove a brain, which looks absolutely terrible. There are black spots covering the majority of the brain, with some darkened holes in the sides, as though some sort of bacteria or infection were eating away at it. The brain is, in fact, actually diseased and from a disease victim. A disease of my own design, of course. I engineered it protein by protein, all by myself.
"Even holding this with all of this equipment, I risk contaminating myself, so I must put this back in the container..."

T9: Now for a brief torture-chamber-wide announcement!
A series of Nyans goes into the torture chamber intercom for no less than five minutes.
T9: That will be all.

"Blah blah blah Comrades..."
HE'S A COMMUNIST, GET HIM!!!
"Sir, it's called an autopsy. Standard procedure to see what killed him, and if you don't tell us where the cure is, it will happen to you too..."

Post by Draxorion on Sept 12, 2011 3:26:37 GMT
I refuse. If I die, I will have died honorably. Also, we don't have the cure. What are you talking about? There isn't a cure because there wasn't a disease!

".......there is NOW."
Due to my incredible buildup of rage, I pulled out a syringe filled with bacteria of the disease I engineered and I injected it into the subject.
"Maybe now you'll start talking, because this is real, and you will die a painful death in less than six hours without my help!"
