I would aprecciate it if Earth Editor would be updated. or even better, if Earth Editor and PG would exchange stuff:
PG would get Sand, Cloud, White holes and Black holes. EE would get Oil, Magma, Stone etc.
EDIT: I can,t believe it. EE got an update.

Unfortunately, all of the games but PG and SR are dead. It is a shame, but oh well. A transfer like this could be good, though.

Alas, we can only dream. We DID get an Irritation Stickman update...

Well, and meteors...

Although, if this hypothetically were to happen....
I'd be much more interested in all the new elements in Earth Editor. Picture creating a electronic planet on EE and then bombard it with meteors while it shoots lasers back at you... ;D

Eh, the lasers couldn't hurt you.

If this will happen, we can make space battles.

Yea, that would be pretty epic.... and instead of players, you have spaceships (also controlled with arrow keys) (which could shoot elements with a shoot button) (backwards for brakes)
That would be pretty cool...

That should have to be a different game, otherwise it is no better than requests for health bars and weapons in PG.

True, True... It would then have to be called galactic adventures....

I dunno, I think Space Ranger would probably fit better.

@start of Thread
Wish Granted. EE was updated. v1.8

I dunno, I think Space Ranger would probably fit better. Sound interesting... You could also put Boxers(Players) and Fighters to make Super Mario Galaxy.

Either we were official after all, or they honestly didn't care. I mean, they have to watch the forums. Whipper, Mercury, This...

Although whipper was added to SR, it was just one of the tons of other new ranger ideas on the board. It would have almost been a surprise if they added a ranger that hadn't already been requested, since we've covered so many.
Mercury was a largely requested element throughout the entire DB community. The addition of mercury may have been a result of a request on these forums, but it was more likely a result of the requests on dan-ball.jp.
This EE update happened a mere 4 days after this thread. They were probably already planning on it.
But yes. We got lucky. EE got updated.

I hope earth editor gets more updates.

It was the largest idea on the board, the one people were considering the most, and really, it was RIGHT after it became popular. I wouldn't be surprised if Mercury was taken from the community, but the reactions were certainly taken from us. If they were already planning it, then the person that posted this thread must be psychic.
Memzak, you need another before you even CONSIDER it? They read the English comments, they've obviously seen links to the forum. I don't see why not. We would have to 'get lucky' an awful lot for this to happen otherwise.
Anyway, the update probably wasn't too complicated to update. It isn't like this can be their jobs or anything, these people probably do it in a few hours in their spare time.

Yea, I guess. Still. If they are really reading this then they should have no problem making one of the bunch of updates of something that was suggested here.

Post by Qwerty on Jun 20, 2010 20:11:32 GMT
Maybe, but they might not be reading every post. I know I wouldn't. Just go for the most active one, I guess. Plus most of this probably wouldn't translate.

Now, what I would like to see is for someone to post an idea for something including all the rewritten code with that element in it. The updater would have a field day.

They would be unlikely to accept the whole code. Besides, we don't know how Dust is programmed. The only code we can get is obfuscated.
It's very possible to program an update in three days...

hmmm... I rate that if we ever get contact with Ha55i that we ask to include embedding PG (without uploads) into this forums. That would be pretty cool.[/randomness]
Dust is programmed through java. Shouldn't it be simple to just extract the jar file, then extract the class files?
