Tell me, is there any strategy to this game? Any particular strategy that you use? Or is it purely a test of reflexes?

No there is a bit of strategy, don't hit the brown blocks and don't rub against the walls on the side.
Reflexs make up a lot of it though.

Which one to you prefer, the web based one or the mobile one?
I for one prefer the web based one, but that's maybe because it's more accessible to me.

Rocats is extremely hard to control. Whatever you tilt up is suddenly where the cats moves. It's like an opposite and it's extremely disorienting.

That's why you can change the control setting in the options.
