If you read about it, it's not.

Reading about it tells me nothing until I can see actual gameplay; every developer will tell you their game is fun and unique. Of course, this is usually not the case.

Well, considering how there were beta weekends, we've seen footage from those given access, I'd say it looks like a damn good game.

I wouldn't, looks entirely generic

If you looked into it, there's plenty of lore if that's your thing, but the game itself allows for movement/dodging during combat, WvW PvP, and it has hand drawn backgrounds to name a few.

Yeah, games that present minor features such as that do so because the rest of gameplay is lacking.

I'm sure they do. I bet after eight years of development, user and staff beta-testing, loads of community feedback, and raving reviews, that this game will suck.

Duke Nukem Forever, Too Human, Perfect Dark: Zero, Gran Turismo 5; all took many, many years of development, had massive fanbases, and were ultimately letdowns.

Reviews are really trustworthy. EA, for instance, always got great reviews.

Well realm of the mad god isn't a pay to win game as buyablenitems with cash give you little advantages over others other than aesthetics. No but seriously, looks like a nice game.
