Nmagane, every time this bullshit happens, your boilerplate argument is that "you don't actually care about these people" and that "these people shouldn't really take to heart what you're saying". I paraphrase.
If you don't mean what you say, and you don't want other people to take what you say seriously, don't fucking say it. Furthermore, while I think DM should also have been punished for the actions recorded, the reason is the same thing I've been trying to point out again and again. You have been banned a lot, you can't deny that, and almost always for the same things, and you're not learning the point of this.
I'm not going to claim it makes sense, but when you put someone in prison for years, the intended message is that "what you did is bad, don't do it again", and for people who don't appreciate being locked in a concrete cell, it works pretty damn well. For those who simply don't care, it doesn't matter how long they get put in a cell. And when people get let out on probation, first hint of them breaking the law and they're back in.
Yeah, this is the internet. Yeah, this is just you getting kicked off some website for a few days. The ramifications are hardly in the same order of magnitude. The point here is the same. The point of the ban is to convince you that you need to stop doing what you're doing - and while I'm talking specifically to you, it's because I'll admit there are unfair amounts of attention on you, and there are other people to whom this applies - and when we let you back in you simply don't stop. Which is why when YOU do something wrong, there is a line of people waiting to ban you.
I think Lemon's quote of yours truly sums it up nicely. All this drama is absolute bullshit, and it just needs to stop - even if only for the sanity of the involved parties. I know this is an odd argument coming from me, but this is the fucking internet. It isn't worth this much effort to be angry.

Well, it's all counted. A three week ban is a bit harsh even by my standards, but it IS what the forum rules dictate for a second forum ban, so there we have it.

this is not some organised and perfect and special place. it is a forum on the internet. stop treating it as something special and using it's 'perfect status and rules' to hide around the fact that you hate a user. fine. point made. nmagane breaks rules a lot. the thing i have a problem with is you blame it on rules when sometimes it blatantly isn't against the rules. he basically challenged you when he said i cannot be banned and you made a point of banning him. this has nothing to do with rule breaking so just admit it. it's a forum. on the internet. no one will care.

It's not special at all. What he did IS against the rules, just the ones he never pays attention to. As to the forum ban... well, we have a forum rules thread for a reason. I based that ban off of the lower end of warning percentages and even then it got to 135% warning. Yes, I do hate him as a person, but BECAUSE he breaks rules and thinks he can get away with it.

At this point he's just messed with the wrong people. This needs to end.

I don't think it's too big of a deal really, it does seem like there is some personal dislike for members going on here or something. I don't really see a very big reason to ban anybody right now, instead of quickly being so harsh, we can just take a breather and talk about it. I think that things would go in a way better direction if it was just sorted out, you know, not much will change if the person is banned, people will still dislike the user and nothing is accomplished from it.
So, I am wondering, what do you guys think about discussing it with each other and trying to sort things out? This is just the Internet or something, don't worry so much about this stuff.

Knowing Nmagane, he'll just say something retarded such as "l0l, ur domb".

This thread was our attempt to discuss it with each other and try to sort things out. Nmagane apparently has no interest in a diplomatic approach. Anyway, it's over now.

pRiok, a ban IS necessary, without it, there would be no split in time in which members will stop being harassed by NM. You've been here long enough to: A. Understand what he's thinking right now (You used to be a troll) B. Understand that this will only continue.

You seriously need to grow up. Enticing suicide is not funny and is a serious misdemeanor. What I said was defending both myself and Unknown from your antagonizing behavior. stop being dumb. it is the internet. nmagane does not actually want you to kill yourself. he probably hates you and does not care about you but he does not want you to kill yourself. but you already knew that. stop grasping at straws ! ! ! Who are you even? Nmagane's brother?

Yeah, but if I walk into the White House and scream "I'M GOING TO ASSASSINATE THE PRESIDENT!" that the Secret Service won't react?

They really cannot be compared, there is a difference between walking over where somebody might be and threatening them than calling them on the phone/Internet and telling them to do something like kill themselves. There honestly is no reason to flat out ban somebody over something that minor either, I am pretty much sure that Nmagane(or whomever even said it) was joking/not serious about it. It honestly does sound like you're pretty biased against him, because I highly doubt you would think twice if it happened in reverse.

Not to mention, this has nothing to do with Nmagane's seriousness level (we know it to be zero). This has everything to do with Unknown's seriousness level. She already said she might, and she's said it again a few times since. Suicide demands may not be taken seriously sometimes but suicide threats sure should.

Well, those two things can't be compared because one person is the president. However, a better comparison is if you walked up to a person on the street and said, "I'm going to kill you". That would "technically" be against the law.
