In an early Earth Sim, the conditions are just right for a group of intelligent entities to form life. Unfortunately, they still must contend with the laws of natural selection. What will the product of their combined forces be?...
The object of the game is to create a species that will be successful. In your post, you choose three developments (letters) and one action (number). Every 24 Hours, I will tally the votes and update the creature.
The Creature As of right now, the creature is single-celled and mobile, though not too maneuverable. It feeds through a primitive digestion system. It is aware of the level of light in its immediate environment and the chemical levels as well as if the chemicals are harmful or not. It prefers light.
As of 6/30, the set of choices are: A) Develop cilia (slow speed, good directional control) B) Develop flagella (fast speed, poor directional control) C) Develop active food digestion (mouth) D) Develop light-sensitive organ E) Develop vibration-sensitive organ F) Develop chemically sensitive organ 1) Do nothing 2) Reproduce

mmkay, you're both doing it wrong. you choose THREE developments and ONE action.

Great! since C and D are a tie, your organism is lucky and gets both!
Winners: Active Digestion Light-sensitive Organ Reproduce
Stats: single-celled creature. Active digestion (It can eat medium-sized particles that float near its mouth). Stationary. Aware of light levels. Population: 2
Environment: medium light
New Choices: A) Develop cilia (slow speed, good directional control) B) Develop flagella (fast speed, poor directional control) C) Develop photophilia (likes light) D) Develop photophobia (fears light) E) Develop vibration-sensitive organ F) Develop chemically sensitive organ G) Enhance sight organ (will be capable of telling the direction of light) H) Develop poison glands I) Enhance digestive system (be able to digest more complex particles) 1) Do nothing 2) Reproduce 3) Eat (success not guarenteed)

A 3-way tie! keep this up and you'll be sentient in no time! XD Winners:Flagella Photophilia Chemically sensitive organ Eat: success! Stats:single-celled creature. Active digestion (It can eat medium-sized particles that float near its mouth). Able to move, but not very maneuverable. Aware of light levels, favors light. Aware of chemicals. Population: 2 Average well-being: 10/10 Average energy: 5/5 Environment: medium light, slight non-harmful chemical "scent" New Choices:A) Develop cilia (slow speed, good directional control) B) Enhance Flagella (FASTER!) C) Enhance Chemical Sensor (will be able to tell chemical direction) D) Enhance Chemical Sensor (will be able to distinguish better between chemicals) E) Develop vibration-sensitive organ F) Develop proteins in the phospholipid bilayer (you need to know biology to get the significance of this ) G) Enhance sight organ (will be capable of telling the direction of light) H) Develop poison glands I) Enhance digestive system (be able to digest more complex particles) 1) Do nothing 2) Reproduce 3) Eat (success not guaranteed) 4) Move (direction is superfluous with your sensory equipment)

Sorry for the delay. I'm too busy to make nice graphics right now, so if you REALLY want a picture, it'll be an MS-Paint sketch. By the time your creature is more than just a mass of cells, I should be able to provide nice graphics. Winners:Enhance sight organ Move Stats:single-celled creature. Active digestion (It can eat medium-sized particles that float near its mouth). Able to move, but not very maneuverable. Aware of light level and direction, favors light. Aware of chemicals. Population: 2 Average well-being: 10/10 Average energy: 4/5 Environment: bright light NW, moderate non-harmful chemical "scent" New Choices:A) Develop cilia (slow speed, good directional control) B) Enhance Flagella (FASTER!) C) Enhance Chemical Sensor (will be able to tell chemical direction) D) Enhance Chemical Sensor (will be able to distinguish better between chemicals) E) Develop vibration-sensitive organ F) Develop proteins in the phospholipid bilayer (you need to know biology to get the significance of this ) G) Develop primitive photosynthesis H) Develop poison glands I) Enhance digestive system (be able to digest more complex particles) 1) Do nothing 2) Reproduce 3) Eat (success not guaranteed) 4) Move (Define direction)
