New : [PLAYER] Add Life Bar.
When you take a hit you can see how much life you have by how much of the player's head isn't red. I guess this beats instakill.

Ooh, that may be good for some player courses. It'll probably make old ones way too easy though.

This is one of the suggestions that people always said would be really dumb, like guns and magic. A lot of people said it would be cool too, but it is just kind of funny that it was added into that game.

Yeah, I guess so. I didn't see this one as insulted as a lot of the others, though. Plus I really like the way it was implemented, and how that's different from how it is in SR.

Finally something new. Lets see if it actually works.

At version 4.0 Powder game 2 has already exceeded the original... AND we have a rapid update cycle (compared to the original powder game in it's later years)
A life bar system could be fun.

Strangely, magma kills faster than acid...

Don't really see how that is strange. Acid just happens to kill more slowly than magma, nothing strange about it.

Well, I´ve always thought of acid as the most effectiive killer. Also, except of acid and figter, their heat on BG-TG seem to be how much they damages.
And figthers are very unpredictable. Sometimes, half your life is gone after one kick, and sometimes less than 1/4.

So can we 'shoot' elements out by pressing the down button like we could in PG1? Or is that no longer present?

That's still gone I'm afraid.

Oh yea... I forgot about that specific feature.... as well as boxes and balls... Well PG2 is still making good headway. I wonder if they'll incorporate the PG1 element firing mechanism, or if they'd add something new.

They need to add a toggle or some other settings for this.

Why? We don't want a setting overload letting you tweak every little feature. That'd make uploads inconsistent. All this does is make players slightly more durable, I don't see why there should be a toggle.

Well it does make player courses a lot easier, also, wouldn't uploads save which things were toggled anyway?
Also my prediction (kinda) was right. They did incorporate a PG1-esque firing method.

I guess I mean that it would make the game physics inconsistent more than anything. I mean, sometimes it is nice to be able to toggle features, but in this case it is just unnecessary.

Don't like it very much, kinda boring, I was kinda hoping for something else, instakill was pretty fun for player course.

Not for me, it just made them frustrating for me. Guess to each their own though.
