If you are reading this post, it should be quite obvious that the forum is completely different. The reason behind this is that we updated to the latest Proboards software, V5. V5 uses an entirely different system for controlling how the forum looks and behaves, and although it is much, much better, I'm looking to you, the community, for ideas regarding design. Most importantly, what colors you would like to see. Any comments or suggestions should be posted in this thread, or otherwise sent to me or another administrator.

Hide the list of member boards from the main page. It looks cluttered.
This text is very difficult to see, and you might want to change what it says since we are no longer using a skin "inspired by Spectrum". Also, the text that is readable conflicts with the color scheme.
Custom titles are screwed up. You might have to go in one-by-one to change this one, but it will look better overall. This is also a similar issue to the custom text in older user accounts. "<!classic>" can still be seen in some profiles. It would be best to inform everyone to change their custom text and remove that tag.
Remove this box entirely, or at least remove the "stories from around the web". It's unnecessary.
Even though I would say that this design is better than the last one in terms of functionality, I do not think it is the best "forum" skin. It would look great on a webpage or blog, but perhaps not the best for a forum.
I might screw around with the v5 and see if I can come up with something while I continue learning C++, to better show what I mean.

I think it's more a matter of everyone being too lazy to re-add it, combined with the fact that nobody ever uses it for anything anymore, except stuff like name color changes that might as well be free considering how many dan-balls everyone has now.
Can we remove that? It's fucking gay. I thought it was on because I was a guest and Proboards' dev team hates guests. "Post Quick Reply" >> "Click Play" >>" Write down phrase" >> "Please accept Proboards' terms of service" >> Post
Or you get one of those annoying captchas you can never read.
