Remember the 4th search? That long and bizarre survey someone made?
There's a part 2 now, and it's on youtube. I can't answer all of these by myself, so I'll post my progress here. Please help if you can.
Questions are here: 4thsearch.wordpress.com/
1. The objects could all be used for navigation and exploration. The translation card could be used to assist communication, the clock could be used to help determine location (with astronomical data), and the inner ear allows for balance during transport, particularly walking.
2. He's asking me to compare the distance between a street and a picture of a bug, then compound by 9. 12 9s. What?
3. Connect using only verbs: Helios, the symbol for The Amulet of the Soul, and a C Clamp. Note that he asks for 4 but only lists 3.
4. Connecting ideas with a narrative. Okay. We have a spherical spaceship (from one book), a villain from a specific marvel comic storyline, and a specific worn-out book. Should be easy enough. I'll do more research.
5. If you have 1 oz of gold in a specific county in Colorado, how do you impact the noise from a sulphur-winged locust? Describe in one paragraph. Yeah, I'm starting to think this guy doesn't have all of his marbles. Still, we must come up with an answer, however strange.
6. The ceremony of raising? It's from that book he's reading. Seems to be a masonic thing. Not sure what brine shrimp and telecommunications have to do with it.
7. Totally unanswerable so I'll just make something up.
8. Connect the use of disinfectants with a tuning fork producing a specific note. I'll pop it into audacity later, see exactly which note it is.
9. I have an awful lot of pencils. This might take awhile. At least it'll give me a chance to sort out my pens.
10. Some audio from Castle S4E8 (from 'I think he’s not stupid enough to kill Sam' to 'Sir, am I interrupting?'. You see his face in this one but it's hardly relevant. No real question, but I'll go over the transcript later.
Considering most of these questions have no legitimate answer, and are based entirely off of either random objects or random quotes from books on his desk, I'm concluding that this is in the same category as LshyM. The difference is, we have contact with the creator of this one, and I plan on milking that for all that it's worth. Even if there is no answer, we have to try.
Also, the papers on his desk have various messages written on them. We should try to get the text from these whenever possible.
