Your right, that helps nothing. It would be awesome, if you deleted your post content, because it is uninteresting, messes up the thread and everyone can get it from dan-ball.jp/java.js

I got the hosts file and the .jar, still working on the Apache HTML server thing.

I found out a way to do it:
1. Open Safari and go to Powder Game 2. Right Click off the screen and select "Save Page As" 3. Choose "Web Archive" 4. Save it

As mentioned before, that doesn't do it. That only saves the page. If you disconnect the internet, the app still does not work.

Helluva necropost Wolf.

Necroposts don't matter if they try to contribute something to the thread, which he did. Especially in ongoing threads like this.

Reasons Why I Posted:
1. I don't care if its a necropost, because apparently people still read it
2. When I completely disconnected from the internet and opened the page, it still worked
Ps. Did any of you even try that method?

It's very god.
Imean
Interesting, but it doesn't work on other computers. We need to have a foolproof way of doing this for every single browser.

If anyone comes up with a way, they can post it here; but I want to know if the way I described the process worked for anyone else.
Ps. I meant to say good, not god (typed too quickly)

What I'm saying is that the method has been proposed before and does not in fact work. Have you tried disconnecting the internet and then running it?

Yes, I have. I tested multiple times before I first posted, several times after, and a few during the making of the video. Powder Game worked perfectly every time.

Ah, I thought it didn't work last time. Well, if it works, great, and it'd be much better than Disabled's inadequately described suggestion to use an apache webserver and redirect the hosts file.

For me it does work, every time I open it, the game loads perfectly. Have you tried it yet? I want to see if it works for other people in addition to just me. Ps. I loaded the file as an attachment in case people did not know how to do it or are too lazy to do it (You do need Safari to open it though) Attachments:

Safari on Windows? God bless. Anyways, Qwerty, I think you're thinking of the time the other Qwerty tried to do this by saving the applet to the Mac's dashboards, which didn't work.

I just hope someone doesn't hack into the game and allow themselves to vote for their own stuff as much as they want...

I just hope someone doesn't hack into the game and allow themselves to vote for their own stuff as much as they want... Let me ease your mind by saying all voting information is stored serverside. What this means is when you click the vote button, it sends a letter to the main website and asks if it can vote. Circumventing this would be extremely difficult, and anyone with that ability would doubtfully use it on a website as small as danball.

Neither of those things are Powder Game. PG Viewer is just a mobile PG that has nowhere near the level of control the main one does.
Anyway, I doubt anyone cares at this point.
