Whatever. It has a lot more uses than just switches, like toggle-able doors.

Hey, I'M the one that suggested Limestone in the first place.
Name: Aether (Natural) Colour: #FFFFDDState of Matter: N/A, will move around randomly until transformation. Description: Aether will render indestructable until it has attained elemental effects. The first element it touches will depict its state of matter. If it touches the following, it will turn into the other and vice versa. Solid-Liquid. Semisolid-Plasma. Powder-Gas. The plasma form of Aether will act like Laser, flying off in the opposite direction to which it was travelling when it hit the element. The second element it touches depicts its own elemental effects and changes its colour.. Powder-Stone. Water-Fire. Seed-Acid. Wood-Torch. G-Powder-Laser. Fan-Pomp. Ice-Snow. S-Ball-Mercury. Clone-Virus. F-Works-Oil. C-4-Nitro. Magma-Gas. Salt-S-Water. Ant-Bird. Soapy-Steam. Thunder-Metal. Bomb-Glass. Vine-Spark. Fuse-Cloud. Graphite-Graphite Powder. Diamond-Mirror. Uses: Elemental colouration, (many) new combinations, tech, player courses. EDIT: If there are an odd number of elements other than Aether, the most recently added one will render unreactive in changing its colour or effects until another element has been added to be its counterpart.
Name: Graphite (Natural) Colour: #404050State of Matter: Solid Description: Being a soft form of carbon, Graphite turns to powder under weight worth at least 3 dots of Stone. It conducts Thunder, but unlike Metal which conducts it at a rate of 1 PPF, Graphite only conducts Thunder at a rate of 0.5 PPF. If it has been conducted, Thunder will always choose to go through Metal rather than Graphite regardless of the direction it's going in. If Graphite is placed under at least 10 dots of Magma (vertical count only), it will transform into Diamond. If a single dot of Graphite has touched three dots of Fire or Torch, it will instantly ignite. Uses: Making Graphite Powder, making Diamond, as a slow-burning solid, alternate Thunder paths. Name: Graphite Powder (Artificial) Colour: #304040State of Matter: Powder Description: Like regular Graphite, but in a Powder form and does not conduct Thunder. If Graphite Powder is pushed against Metal, C-4, Fuse, Wood or Vine with at least 4 dots of Stone, the Graphite Powder will mark it the colour #303040. Uses: Making Diamond, slow-burning powder, discolouring solids. Name: Diamond (Artificial) Colour: #DDEEFFState of Matter: Solid Description: Diamond is a nonflammable, noncorrosive solid that cannot be affected by Magma either. Each dot of Bomb that touches Diamond only has a 25% chance of affecting it. If a dot of Laser passes through Diamond, it will be split into two different Lasers travelling 45 Degrees either side of the original one. If two Lasers travelling 90 degrees apart from each other hit a dot of Diamond at the same time, they will form a single Laser shot in the direction between the two. Laser-Diamond diagram, I just used Ice to represent the new element because I'm too lazy to create a new colour. Note that the projections also work in reverse. Uses: Laser splitters, Magma shielding, Bomb shielding.
Name: Mirror (Natural) Colour: #CCFFFFState of Matter: Solid Description: Depending on the direction the PG cursor is pointing when Mirror is placed down, it will let Laser through on one side but reflect it on the other. Unlike polished Metal, Mirror can reflect Laser in the exact opposite direction to which it was originally travelling, providing the Laser is travelling perpendicular to the reflection point. Mirror also conducts Thunder just like Metal, but conducted Thunder will always turn in the same direction as the side of the Mirror that reflects Laser. Uses: Laser tech, directing Thunder. Whew. That was a mouthful.

The whole thing with Aether is pointlessly over complicated and no one in their right mind would memorize those reactions or understand it (Or want to). Graphite and Graphite Powder are wonderful elements. I love the fact that it collapses under the weight of stone. Allowing switches. Wonderful. Not to mention it can redirect instantly if a metal wire is connected. Wonderful thinking. Very creative and useful. Diamond and Mirror are eerily similar to Crystal and Filter. I suggested filter myself so I know it's there. It can block any element that comes in by having the secondary select on the element you want to filter out. Or in, since there are two types. There is also a crystal element which does all the reactions you described. Aether : Declines (Or Needs Work to simplify things) Graphite : Accepted Graphite Powder : Accepted Diamond : Declined Mirror : Declined

The crystal element and the diamond element, and the filter element and the mirror element, are quite different. I was there during the early discussions of crystal.

The part where the laser splits 45 degrees off in two directions is EXACTLY like crystal. I was there too. The filter element and the mirror element are the same. I suggested it. I should know.

No they are not. Filter is a filter, mirror is a one-way mirror. Completely different. Also crystals primary function was a capacitor, not a splitter, and it works a hell of a lot differently and is only useful as a tech element. Here is some suggestions to add to diamond to make it a bit more noob friendly and to make it work for blocks of diamond as well as individual diamonds. The blue is the starting point of the laser. The patter should stay the same if the pattern is rotated by any eighth of a rotation. With this feature it can easily be used to make both laser splitters and laser mergers.

Name: Cement Color: White (Liquid), brown (Powder), gray (Solid) Type: Liquid, powder, and solid Description: At first, it's a liquid. When it comes in contact with another element, it will begin to become a powder, then solid. Players walking on the liquid or powder form of cement will slow down. It is pretty flammable while liquids and powders, but nearly indestructible when a solid. Uses: Player courses, Chains, Houses

Erm...Lew? The changes in aether affect past uploads. And that's the unwritten rule. So that's a no-no. You can just use clockwork element as a laser splitter.

How do the changes affect past uploads? Name: Arachnid (Natural) Colour: #900000 Type: Living Powder Description: Arachnids are like Goliath Tarantula on steroids. They move around, but can also go up walls and along ceilings and always travel in groups. If there's another solid or block nearby , they will jump towards it in a straight line, trailing web behind them. Arachnids will keep doing this if there are multiple structures, and can even cross webs over. Any dot of Bird or Ant that Arachnid touches will instantly be consumed, while Players or Fighters will die from contact. If one of the four mentioned touches a web structure that Arachnid is on, it will move across the Web towards them at twice their regular speed and proceed to eat or destroy them. Being able to travel in packs, Arachnids can also treat eachother like platforms and stick together. They will keep away from high TG zones. Uses: Making Web, eating Ant and Bird, living obstacle in player courses, general screen domination.
Name: Web (Artificial) Colour: #CCCCDD Type: Semisolid Description: All Powders, Living Powders and Objects that touch Web, with the exception of Stone, will stick to it, while Players and Fighters are greatly slowed down by it. When Stone touches Web, it will sag down, while dragging it makes it stretch outwards. Liquids that touch Web will simply slide down it. If the dot count is 999 or lower, Web will become rigid and won't stretch. All dots of Web that touch Water will become Slick Web. Uses: Making Slick Web, impeding Players, trapping Bird and Ant for "dinner time", holding down unstable objects.
Name: Slick Web Colour:#CCCCEE Type: Solid Description: Unlike normal Web, every Powder, Liquid, Object, Player, Fighter and Living Powder (including Arachnid itself) that touches Slick Web will slide along it. Seeing as it's derived from another artificial element, it really doesn't have many uses, but here goes... Uses: Obstacle, slope, to transport elements, clearing out the Arachnids in your house.

*facepalm* Fan ISN'T supposed to react with anything. That's a long standing rule: fan is just in the background. It wouldn't make sense for fan to react. Also, as you previously ALREADY stated, each time an element is added it remains inert wih Aether until a proper supplement is added. Can you tell me how ADDING A REACTION does not CHANGE PAST UPLOADS!? *ragemode* I'm going to stop critisizing Lew's idea-making to cool down.

... Let's say element x is inert with Aether. Someone thinks element x is inert with Aether and puts them in contact with each other in an upload. When element x does find a pair, what happens to the upload? *FACEPALM*

No, Slick Web actually makes stuff slide down it. How is Arachnid player centered? It just likes to eat...

Ha55ii has NEVER created two elements in the menu at once. NEVER. The only time he has ever added two elements at once is when one is artificial. It's pretty much an unspoken rule that two elements can not be made at once. Have you ever even NOTICED THAT, sirrah? You seriously think Ha55ii has enough time to create 2 different elements? That is sorely incorrect.

Merh. Also, there isn't really a rule that says that... If you actually paid attention to timelines, Ha55ii has added many multiple options in the game's early stages, so why not now?

Mmm... I dunno. I guess Arachnid could be used for disposing of ant in tech, but you can just use acid for that... However, it does make web, which could actually be quite useful elsewhere... The best use for it is in player courses, though. So it is somewhat player centered... But still good... We already have spider as a requested element.

Kden... Name: Damper Colour: #CCAAFF Type: Plasma; will maintain a random flight pattern but always go 40 dots one way or collide with another element before switching directions. Description: As the name suggests, Damper dampens the abilities of other elements. The only things that can destroy it are Bomb and Virus, which are also the only elements it can't change. If it touches the following types of elements, it will change them in the following ways: Flammable- Fireproof. Fireproof: Unmeltable. Explosive- Flammable. Unmeltable- Indestructible (except to Virus). Melter- Lighter element. Lighter element/ Freezing element- No effect. Corrosive- Oxidizer. Oxidizer- No effect. Electric- No effect. Cloner- No effect. Living Powder- Deprived of all abilities to eat, group, avoid and build.

Name: Accel (Accelerate) Colour: #00FFAF Type: Solid Description: All Powders, Living Powders, Liquids, Gasses and Objects that touch Accel will shoot along it at 2.5 PPF in a set direction until they fly off and eventually lose speed. Like Laser, it has eight directions- up, down, left, right and diagonally. Virus will absorb Accel, but the particles will still be shot in that direction. If Objects are touching Accel, they will stay in the same position (Players and Fighters cannot move their limbs or use attributes, Boxes won't flop around, Clone Balls won't reproduce elements, etc). Except for Virus, Bomb is the only thing that can destroy Accel; it also causes it to emit a small pulse of Air from where it's detonated. Uses: Player Course, Ball Courses, Element transport.

This reminds me greatly of the blue acceleration gel from a certain Portal 2. It looks like it'd fit well in the game, but I don't quite understand why Players and Fighters stop moving when they touch it. Other than that, nice idea.

It's like the travelators in shopping centres. They're designed so trolleys can't move from them until they reach the end. Same idea with Accel. Also to stop Boxes and Balls from hitting the thing and instantly bouncing away.

Quite. Bump here as well. Name: Oblit Colour: #F05000 State of Matter: Plasma Description: On its own, Oblit floats around aimlessly. However, when other elements are placed near it, it will be pulled towards them like the dot- BH physics in Earth Editor. When Oblit touches another dot, that dot will be destroyed. When two dots of Oblit collide, they destroy each other and create a "shockwave" of fire slightly more powerful than that of exploding Nitro. Uses: Total destruction. Not much else. Name: Mimic (Neutral) Colour: #303030 State: Powder Description: Mimic has five states, which have sensibly been called neutral, hot, cold, flammable and charged; Neutral Mimic doesn't do anything on its own. All five states can only be destroyed by Virus and Bomb. Name: Mimic (Hot) Colour: #C00000 State: Liquid Description: Neutral Mimic becomes hot when it touches any lighter element. Hot Mimic is almost white in BG-TG, and will light all flammable elements as well as melt Stone, Mercury and Metal and turn Water-based elements (excluding cryogens) to Steam. It becomes Neutral Mimic when it touches a cryogen. Name: Mimic (Cold) Colour: #0000C0 State: Solid Description: When Neutral Mimic touches a cryogen, it becomes cold. Cold Mimic is essentially a copy of Ice that freezes most Water-based elements. It becomes Neutral when it touches a lighter elements or is hit with strong Wind. Name: Mimic (Flammable) Colour: #00C000 State: Gas Description: Flammable Mimic is created when Neutral Mimic touches an explosive element like Gas and Nitro ("explosive" being defined as generating fire, with extra effects, when lit). It floats up at a regular rate, and turns into Fire and releases a small burst of Air when it is lit. Flammable Mimic becomes Neutral when it touches a cryogen. Name: Mimic (Charged) Colour: #C05000 State: Plasma Description: Neutral Mimic becomes charged when it touches a plasma. Charged Mimic flies in a straight line at 1 PPF and turns 135 degrees clockwise when it hits anything. It is a lighter element, and delivers a pulse of Thunder to any conductive element it touches. Name: Shifter (Solid) Colour: #202020 State of Matter: Solid Description: Like Mimic, Shifter has multiple states- six, each of which is a different state of matter. Unlike Mimic, Shifter's form is changed by different levels of pressure. When subjected to extremely low pressure, it becomes a Solid. In this state, it cannot be burnt, melted or dragged and can only be destroyed by Bomb and Virus. Name: Shifter (Semisolid) Colour: #502800 State of Matter: Semisolid (draggable solid) Description: Shifter becomes a semisolid at moderately low pressure. In this state, it can be dragged and melted with Magma. Name: Shifter (Powder) Colour: #D03010 State of Matter: Powder Description: Shifter is a Powder at regular pressure, and is also in this state by default when it is placed on the screen. Powder Shifter is flammable, but burns slowly, similarly to Wood. Name: Shifter (Liquid) Colour: #E09000 State of Matter: Liquid Description: Shifter turns into a liquid at moderate pressure. It is flammable, but burns at a faster rate than Powder Shifter. Liquid Shifter is slightly heavier than Seawater. Name: Shifter (Gas) Colour: #009000 State of Matter: Gas Description: When subjected to high pressure, Shifter becomes an explosive gas. In this state, it floats upwards and explodes with the force of G-Powder on contact with a lighter element. Name: Shifter (Plasma) Colour: #00A0F0 State of Matter: Plasma Description: At extremely high pressure, Shifter becomes an unstable Plasma. In this state, it floats around in midair and is only affected by Air or Wind. When it touches Block or any solid element including itself, it will explode with the force of Nitro(i.e., it can pass through Fan without exploding). Name: Reflector Colour: #D0FFFF State of Matter: Solid Description: Reflector is more of an action element than a reactive one. When an element or object touches Reflector, it will bounce away in exactly the opposite direction with doubled velocity. Plasmas, except for Laser, are unaffected by Reflector- Laser bounces off it as if it were Metal. Reflector can only be destroyed by Bomb and Virus.
