We got spark!
All I know so far is that it does not conduct into metal.
Powder -> burns Water -> no reaction Seed -> no reaction Gunpowder -> explodes Ice -> melts Superball -> no reaction Clone -> clones Fireworks -> ignites Oil -> burns C-4 -> explodes Stone -> no reaction Magma -> no reaction Virus -> normal reaction Nitro -> explodes Ant -> burns Torch -> no reaction Gas -> burns Soapy -> no reaction Thunder -> no reaction Metal -> no reaction Bomb -> normal reaction Laser -> no reaction Acid -> no reaction Vine -> normal reaction Salt -> no reaction Glass -> no reaction Bird -> burns Mercury -> no reaction Wood -> no reaction Snow -> normal reaction Player -> dies Player power: yes

Ok. This is a useless element. Also note that is a spark is (active?) and hits a solid element like block, it bounces. EDIT: also note that like steam, once saved/loaded, it is considered inactive.EDIT:EDIT: scratch that, it has the same properties as laser. It has to be touching an element to be active. Through this, you can direct what way the sparks fly

I like the update, I appretiate what it is... but..... let us face the facts...
It is useless. No practical use for uploads. Fun yo play with though but gets old after a while.... The only possible use I can think of is a new element for players to be in player courses...

I agree with memzak. It is a nice addition, however it proves to be nothing of value. They could've thought of something better, I'm sure.

Interesting, I would not have expected the programmers to put the element above all the non-elements. I used to think they were all organized by columns. the elements had 3, the non-elements had 1, and the option functions had 2. Unless spark is a non-element which it probably isn't.

I have a feeling that the next pg update will be flint... Thunder was practically useless until metal came out...

A guess flint might be nice, but why make a new element when flint could make fire?

Im quite disappointed with this update actually, from what if tried and seen, theres not really anything useful with it. I would of at least thought it would reacted with metal and travel down it or like electrify water or something, really the only thing its good at is the player being able to light stuff with it but we've already got fire for that...

It does prove useful in pixel art since it's a new colour, and it can also be used as obstacles for a player course. The Spark attribute is also much less dangerous than the Fire attribute.
I really wish you could at least do a significant reaction with another element with it...

This one deserves it. It has absolutely nothing unique about it. If it were suggested to an element keeper it would probably be rejected. We're happy when we get a decent update, but this was not one.

Let us hope it turns out like thunder.... having a use after the next update... The only thing I think would have given it a good use was metal, but since we all know it doesn't... Really, what else can be associated with sparks? Some people say every new update for the game is harder than the last... If that's true, then ha55ii should start to think harder about the new elements.

Some people say every new update for the game is harder than the last... If that's true, then ha55ii should start to think harder about the new elements. It is getting harder and harder for every new update. It's not like we control ha55ii, ha55ii can do anything to the game he wants, it might be possible that ha55ii wants to just retire to for now, and create a new 'Powder game' with a new 'physics' engine (with magnetic fields, wind/pressure, electromagnetic waves, etc.). It might even be possible that Spark is just a bad name for it, and he/she meant something like plasma, and that ha55ii will implement magnetic fields in the next update which will keep 'Spark' in place and be able to move/manipulate Sparks. (Just trying to stay optimistic, the above is probably unlikely.)

He knows PG is still his most popular game, he wouldn't do that. We don't need another "Fall" theory.
Besides, one point does not make a pattern.

I can't agree more than humanly possible. However, this lack has even spread towards Stick Ranger. I'm not trying to procreate any 'Fall' theory; maybe the guys who are programming got a little lazy.

And there you all go, complaining again. Isn,t this Seaweed? Back on topic: I pretty like Spark, it got pretty much uses: 1. N00bs stop complaining about Thunder Attribute. 2. A new Minigame has been made by combining Spark with BG-TG. 3. Maybe another minigame could be made by using Spark Fireworks... 4. You can remake SR. 5. You can use it as a taser. 6. Works good for the "twinkling star" effect. 7. New color for pixel arts. 8. New obstacle in Tower Defense and Player Courses. 9. Spark+Virus=Fuse. Want to hear more?
