MUCH much better in my opinion. Four things: 1) "Japanese-speaking... err... Japanese-typing members" I wouldn't do that. I don't know how well that translates into Japanese and it might just be confusing. Just use "speaking" or "typing" 2) "currently led by three administrators and many moderators" I still don't know, why he should be interested in how this forum is organized. I mean, every forum is led by some admins and some mods. Why are the numbers important? 3) There is still no real purpose why he should contact us. Sure currently all we want is an answer, but I don't want him to give him the idea we want to contact him just so we can call him our friend. I would try to give him a reason to contact us. Like I want an interview with him. Or some obvious things like we can provide feedback to him... I don't know, but there should be something so he knows why he should contact us. 4) I would call us "currently unofficial" DBF. Imo unofficial DBF sounds better.

Oh, and should we say Konichiwa? Why not just say "Hello"? It'll be translated into Japanese anyway.

I believe "Konichiwa" is Hello in Japanese... XD
1) Yea, I was thinking of scratching the err, depending on whether it translates well or not... 2) Agreed, fixed. 3) Hmm, an interview... lets see... 4) Unofficial sounds better too me too. I didn't bother changing the last line becuase I didn't really read it at all... XD

Like always, this is my opinion, feel free to overvote me:
1) Unless there is a japanese member who can read english (and not the other way around) and says "sure that translates" there is no real possibility to know how it translates. I think its better to keep it simple. 2) "led by some really good staff members" ... I'm not sure why we should mention the staff at all. Like every forum we have staff, so what is the information? I'd remove it completely. 3) An interview is something I'm interested in... Lets assume he answers, what would be the second Mail we send him? Thats what I would be interested in. What do they want once we made contact. 4) Here is a new idea: "The members of the english Dan-Ball Forums" or similar. Just remove the "unofficial", after all nowhere can I find "unofficial" in the title of this forum.
Oh and its kinda pointless to have two threads about this topic. Can you merge topics on proboards or is it too limited? If not, I'd close one thread and prominently link to the other one.

1) Yep, we have 'em. 3) Presumably the interview.
There is only one topic on this subject. This topic was going to be locked when I moved it for transparency sake, but I know how much you hate locking anything for any reason, so I didn't. We should be discussing this over on the other thread. You know, the announced one.

I don't hate locking. I hate locking when you/someone has no interest in discussing anymore. I don't hate locking when there are two threads for the same topic or the topic shouldn't be discussed for other reasons: You uninterested => bad Double topics => good Political reasons => good, but make sure that everyone understands those reasons
