Do remember that capitalization affects the rating, as well as spaces, according to the source code. My display name, General Veers, will likely be longer than 302 years, whereas my username, admin, will be solved in less than a second.
Lowercase letters increase n, the number of possible characters in the password, by 26. Uppercase letters increase n by 26. Numerical digits increase n by 10. Alternate alphanumerics increase n by some other amount that I forgot.
A password L characters long composed only of digits would have 10L permutations. A password L characters long composed only of lowercase letters would have 26L permutations. A password L characters long composed only of uppercase letters would have 26L permutations. A password L characters long composed of all three aforementioned characters would have (10 + 26 + 26)L = 62L permutations.

Pick me! Pick me!
(Even though I have a password unique to this site, that is not my username, and is rather garbage-y)

Is this the same program as the other thread? Well... It still doesn't sound very accurate, this calculator...

Oh well... Using it I made my password only crackable in 500 000 nonillion years or something like that. (even though it isn't that accurate it still makes sense to have a secure password)

It isn't so much a matter of "Isn't that accurate" as "Isn't accurate at all".

Well it's sorta accurate in the sense that the longer the password the longer it takes to crack. Besides it could be based on a standard PC of 5 years ago for all we know.
