A lot of new players (Yes, I'm referring to myself) get stuck on Grassland 1 which prompts them to scream "DIZ GAEM IZ 2 HARED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111"...

A lot of the early stages are considerably hard for stuff at the beginning of the game...

The hardest part of SR is either the beginning or middle, because you're helpless.

Hardest stage of course is Pyramid. For it's level, Lake 1 is pretty darn hard. I always have to come back to complete it a little later in my quest.

For those who are new to this game I think mistgrove 3 as the monsters create more by spawning.

That's right. That stage is horribly difficult.

The pyramid boss wasn't that hard, IMO. Neither was Mist Grove 2, now that I think about it. Nor was Seaside 2...
This is all my opinion, mainly, because I'm practically done with the game.

It really does depend on the team, for me submarine boss was easier than other claim.

the hardest stages are(counting levels): 1st. cavern 4 2nd. mist grove 2 3rd. Pyramid 4th. seaside 1 5th. desert 6 1st. they make to much damage, and i cany hit them with my boxer(he can heal) there is no space for arrows, too much walls for thunder spear, the priest's attack is useless, IM STUCK 2nd. also stuck here...the boss fight is almost impossible 3rd. its pretty easy to beat pyramid boss, you just the same technique as with castle boss, with a boxer and sonic knuckle+onigri's card+vampire's card 3 just hit him and when he shoots arrow, go to the other side(of the boss), when he use flame, go back and wait for him to stop 4th. hard to dodge attacks, the only way to beat this boss is to grind, and get powerful enough, or you can use bait with a melee(needs training) 5th. horrible poison clouds >

I don't think any of the megabosses is really hard. I think that what makes them challenging is the time it takes to beat, because the best way you can do it is dodging with a boxer, or a sniper. Of course, if you just let your team go and do the work, you will die easily, but that happens to many other bosses too. I don't think that there is an insanely hard stage, but the Seaside ones are really a pain when you first do it. Nowadays, I don't have problems with those...

I personally think that Desert 5 is harder than it, because the 6 boss has no minions, and the poison clouds are ridiculously easy to dodge. Just using the old technique of the sniper with a poison bow, and there you go.

None of those listed above are particularly difficult. The hardest single stage in my opinion, not including the boss, would have to be Cavern 6 to me. Cavern stages 4-6 are just annoying in general, there's too little space for arrows and the enemies are in multitudes.
If we're talking about bosses, Desert 8 and Mist Grove 2 beat all. The spawning stages are just infuriating at first.

Cavern 5 was nearly impossible... THANK YOU! Someone who understands my struggles, my sorrows, my despair when fighting that miserable ragdollish shield-shaped-head-that-shoots-lasers. Now my struggles, my sorrows and my despair are directioned to the tree. Anyone got tips on fighting it?

...What? No, you're thinking of a completely different stage. Cavern 5 is the one with the mobs of bats. There are no trees.
But anyways, I can offer one bit of advice that never lets anyone down... Try leveling up a bit more.

Cavern 6 has the trees, I know it. Just telling you that, after I passed Cavern 5... Well.

The Cavern stages have the most enemies in the game and you have the least space to attack... it makes no sense...
The bosses are alright, it's just that melees die very quickly if you try directly attacking them. Just attack and dodge with a melee or weaker character and you'll win pretty fast.

Wow everyone says cavern stages are hard. I'd actually have to agree. There's a stupid ceiling, and the enemies are also flying. So basically that takes out your snipers, and your melee characters. However, the boss stages are terribly easy because the ceiling is pretty high and the bosses are weak.

Yea, Cavern 6 killed me the first few times I did it. My team is magician, priest, priest, boxer. The stage with the fire immune bats was the most annoying. I just abused atomic ray + guide card for the other cavern stages, but they were immune in that stage.

Do you guys just skip to the boss stage? Cause I'm pretty sure you don't have to meet those bats if you do skip.

Those bats are easy as long as you don't have a type with their strength. And a good melee.

Yea, they're strong to their own type. A Supervolcano 4 helps A TON on the Cavern stages too.

I think It's kinda hard to have a team that is has all the weaknesses of those bats. One class will always have different-typed weapons than the other...
