Supervolcano is an anti-flying weapon, it bursts up high enough to cover from top to bottom in a tunnel for a few seconds.

Peirce's Cards are helpful, too. My Poison Sniper couldn't do anything during the cavern stages due to the low roofs.

I'm surprised Hill Country hasn't been mentioned yet. It's surprising hard for it's level, other than the 1st one.

Most of us don't think about early stages. Though they are challenging for their level, most of us forget about them facing more challenging stages for a higher level.

Really depends on the class doesn't it, a 4 angels is going to die on any flying thing until they have enough range. My ranged class of 4 mages find it hard to do freeze resistant things, e.g bosses so I need to adapt my slots to tank or be distant to poison. Really I say that for me it's the tunnels, due to me being bored to fast and having to redowhen I don't save so now I can't be bothered to do the new levels as much, they are the hardest due Yo my attention spam.

Well, I guess because later stages will be harder for a longer time and you have access to a larger variety of weapons and it is still difficult.
The hardest stage to me, also including the boss, would have to be Cavern 5. It has the 2nd strongest enemy in the game, a powerful boss, and has the highest number of enemies in any stage.

What team do you use as I use 2 freeze orbs and some atomic rays in my 4 Mage team although I do take a long time and I die slot asthem.

Atomic Ray's aren't particularly good in most cases. I suppose for the Caverns it might be good.
My last team was a Triple Poison Sniper, Supervolcano Magician, Long Iron Staff Priest, and Ice Sabel Gladiator. It's specifically for PvP but still is pretty good for PvE. The test team is up on VS Mode.

Is this boss poison resistant, I find that if Jesse art a freeze and ic combination work, slow 45% and freeze a bit at a time while you do an all out attack, with ranges attacks.

I honestly have no idea what you just commented. From what I can read, the boss is in fact, NOT poison resistant.

I'm surprised Hill Country hasn't been mentioned yet. It's surprising hard for it's level, other than the 1st one. First two, not bad. Last one, VERY HARD. I usually just skip it until I'm in the early or mid 20's.

Yes, it consists of 2 big enemies. The boss also has pretty big range for a stage that early and the projectiles go extremely fast.

Peirce's Cards are helpful, too. My Poison Sniper couldn't do anything during the cavern stages due to the low roofs. That's why I keep various weapons for every class, like the poison shot for the sniper, so it can shoot in tunnels. Doesn't need a pierce's card and is so much better in this situation. Alpha, I never had trouble with Hill Country, actually, I passed through them first than grassland.

Lolwut!? Did you beat a few Grassland stages before finishing HC?
If you have a ton of time and at least some skill, it's possible basically every stage.

I went, I think, until the 2 paths that has 3 and 4, then I started beating HC. It didn't take that long, but a bit of skill, indeed. I don't consider it hard.

Ah. HC2 isn't that hard with a Sniper and HL3 just takes dodging skill, so I guess that wouldn't be too difficult.
Lake is by far the hardest stage for it's level. I literally always have to go back too it after a get like 5-10 more levels.

Pyramid was actually pretty easy for me. I had a team of two angels using thorn circles with a bullets card 4 and a green or blue stone (I don't remember the lvl or type), one gladiator with 50 mag, a lightsaber with a topaz and a blue stone, and a boxer with 40 mag 16 Dex with a needle knuckle with a bullets 4 card on it. All I did was gank him an revived. The battle took about 2 minutes give or take.

Pyramid is actually easy if you use a Whipper with some dex(like 40?), Freeze Whip + Diamond 4, and at least 60 mag. You can freeze the pyramid boss and slow his attack by like 80%.
It also helps if you have a priest with Staff of Icicle.
