Hello, all... This is Paradox, also known as XXX, or XXXtheGreat on Chatango... Today, as decreed by GeneralVeers over my exquisite idea, has decided that today is Intre-Forum Talk Like General Veers Day... Pardon, Inter-Forum. Here are the rules... - You must always end your sentences with a "..."...
- You must include random irrelevant mathematical and statistical information, as commanded by the square root of the eight chromosome of pi...
- When you speak, you must always include very technical and sophisticated lingo of language...
- Never joke around for the whole day...
And, that concludes the rules for such a jubilant celebration of the mathematical, technical, sophisticated inner-workings of the thought-process of General Veers, the moderator of the Dan-Ball Forums, previously owned by one known as TheListo, but has now been much more appropriately replaced...

Excellent... Now we just need an Act Like TheShadowLord day and a RoleplayLikeTemporarily9 day...
I've taken the derivative of this problem and proven that it is a good idea...

I must say that this is a rather peculiar idea, but it appears to be quite a fun activity...

Square root of the eighth chromosome of π?
Also, other than the egotism, what would "Act Like TheShadowLord Day" be like? And would "Roleplay Like Temporarily9 Day" be acting like a nonja officer?

Roleplay Like Temporarily9 Day would indeed be acting like a Nonja officer... Act Like TheShadowLord Day would be, erm, acting like you are automatically awesome? No wait, that would be the egotism. Um... I dunno... Just something to complete the triumvirate.

I would say that, due to the positive response I have seen, there are going to be far too few "Talk Like General Veers" days... I think we should rectify this issue by simply instating more such days.... It would also be advantageous of us to elucidate to each other the finer points of speaking like General Veers... Firstly, you must answer a full 50 percent of all questions with another question... If you decide, arbitrarily, to satiate the one asking the question, you must also attempt to increase their frustration by seeming aloof, and possibly answering their question in a way that is cleverly ambiguous and non-committal... You must not agree or disagree on most points of contention but rather deliberate on the matter until it solves itself... If you end up involved in a big enough issue, that does not resolve itself, you may only state your opinion tentatively if and only if it agrees with he majority at the time that the issue seems to be nearly resolved... You must always address people by their full screen name, and use proper spelling... You must also use perfect grammar, with the exception of leaving out a few commas... You must also be sure to type no more than 35 words per minute... I believe that there should be such days as these on the final Friday of every month... Oh, don't forget to remain humorless while responding to off color jokes...

But I already end most of my sentences with...
The mathematical equation of sin(90) = 1 is true if 90 is measured in degrees and not radians...
The real General Veers taught me that during the weekend while we chatted on the chatango chat... I learnt quite a lot about radians that day...
The only problem with me acting as general veers is that I type many more words than 35 words a minute... Perhaps I should try to type less even though I think that would be impossible for me...

We could throw one eventually... But I dunno about EVERY month...

One every month would indeed seem too much... How about only twice a year? That would make it a memorable event...
Of course statistics show that if it is only twice a year many members would forget about it by the time it comes again...

I wasn't aware that I waffled questions, although I do recognize my relative lack of commitment to certain issues. Admittedly, I would rather be right than consistent, although I would much prefer to be consistently right... So, I presume these would be the guidelines: - Follow all forum and chat rules, without exception...
- Adopt the guise of an Imperial officer, making sure to curse rebel scum when appropriate...
- Use ellipses at the conclusion of statements, except when rhetorically appropriate to use alternative punctuation (e.g. threatening ultimatums to transgressors)...
- Make references to mathematics and her impure children (e.g. physics, chemistry, biology, psychology, etc.)...
- Elevate your language...
- Use alternative languages when possible, regardless of whether the alternative language is human or computer...
- Adopt stoicism to the utmost extent...
- Take your time to create posts, ensuring that all your posts are grammatically correct...
- Refer to people as their name appears, occasionally using multiple names separated by slashes when referring to any of several "He-who-has-too-many-names"...
- Include sparingly spontaneous references to songs by Natasha Bedingfield when the situation fits well with any part of any of her lyrics...

Eh? Oh, that wasn't my impression of you, that was me not knowing the question...
Curse those rebel scum that dislike Natasha Bedingfield songs...

I have a fear that I won't be able to do this in every thread I post on. It's just too hard for me...
I mean a reference in every post? Impossible...
What about star wars references and the dark side of the force? Surely that should be included...

No, you only need make references when appropriate or possible...

Trigonometry is best done in radians, as sin`=cos and cos`=-sin only in radians......

Aww, but degrees are just so fun. Besides, you can always translate between the two.

Yes I do like degrees, but I look forward to the day we start with radians.
