Ok, this is not quite true. I'm auctioning 1000 danballs with a starting bid of 1 danball. The auction ends at the end of the year. Here are the rules:
Once you make a bid you cannot remove or lower your bid. You can only raise it.
Bids must be natural number.
You only win the 1000 danballs if your bid is GREATER than every other bid.
Everyone needs to pay their bid.
Current Bids:

Raising by a negative number is lowering. You are only allowed to RAISE your bet.

It's technically not lowering it's just raising negatively.

It's technically not lowering it's just raising negatively. No, it's negating the action of raising by 92 Dan-Balls, which is lowering by 92 Dan-Balls. Raising negatives is lowering positives since the negative is the opposite of a positive, and the opposite of raising is lowering.

100000000Two
I also wonder if anyone would dare go to 990, rendering the reward nearly pointless, and if someone will ignore the "you must pay your bet" clause and offer 1000 or more Dan-Balls...

Binary.
1 * 28 + 0 * 27 + 0 * 26 + 0 * 25 + 0 * 24 + 0 * 23 + 0 * 22 + 0 * 21 + 0 * 20
256 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0

Alright, since we're so high anyways, I guess I fulfill my own prophecy.
998
Only one integer after that won't result in either a net zero exchange of Dan-Balls or a loss of Dan-Balls to Ganon...

Just like the Third Reich, this lasted much shorter than expected - in this case, 1 day rather than 1 year...

Hehe.... so in the end of the day... whoever was going to give away 1K DBs is actually gaining DBs! (Due to having such competitive people on this forum, aw heck even I'm one of them)
1002 DBs is my new offer.
