Running for so long, it eventually became a burden. The pain he was in should've stopped him, but he was running on pure adrenaline.
Meanwhile, the hard headed government were going to attempt to send hit-men yet again. Over half of them disagreed, and stated that it was getting them nowhere with this 'smart fighter', but the head had more power when it came to the vote. This time, they were going to try something a bit different.

The Fighter came to a wall, but he was in a trance like state with the rhythmic pounding of his legs.
Unknown to him, a mine left in place near the wall was waiting for his arrival. It was setup to ensure nobody entered the lands belonging to the leaders of the nation.
One step away, he would find what awaited him..
For the second time today, he heard the sound of a an explosion. He couldn't help but react by jumping as high as he could. The bomb's reaction timing, from the time it was triggered, wasn't calibrated for somebody who was expecting it, even though the Fighter wasn't, his trance like state provided an alternative.
The air waves picked him out of the air, and lifted him up.
He slowly sailed over it.
The next line of defense was already going off, a crude and simple, yet effective rush of lasers.
Clearing the first giant wave, the system sent more lasers at him.
The laser system failed yet again, mainly because it was built with the notion that only a player would be able to get past the wall mine to begin with.
Rush after rush the player avoided, when he finally made contact with the ground.
Fighting against the winds, he found a hole, and down he went..

Down the hole they looked..
When they realized that they had a problem on their hands. The fighter had made it into government lands.
