Ha55ii updates it at any time, I don't think it is a certain date. Not even close. He updates a game each friday, the pattern being SR, SR, EE, PG...or something like that. This happened last year around this time also. Ha55ii didn't update PG last year on new years, I guess he like goes on vacation or something....

New Years is a large holiday in Japan. I honestly always thought China and maybe US/UK care about New Years to the point where everybody and drunk and stuff. I have no clue how Japan feel about New Years or what they even do during that time.

Yeah but there was one week with no update. the reason why it was updated because it passed last friday, which was not holidays, so there was an update.

So is it just the one day per year when there is no update? That is still 51 DB updates a year. Pretty good work, I say.

Error rectified. That would make approximately 25 SR updates a year if it keeps on working like this.

From the history2010: 25 Updates 2009: 32 Updates 2008: 18 Updates, but they only started on July 18th... If we look a bit closer: The blue line represents how many days were between SR updates on average since the beginning. The red line is an approximation to to that, the yellow line is an approximation to the days between updates since V5.2, because it seems the average changed there significantly. If I extrapolate the red line, I get an average of 13.4 days per update at the end of 2011, that equals to 94 updates total or around 18 this year. Extrapolating the yellow line I get an average of 12.9, or 97.5 updates in total or 21.5 updates this year. But remember, nobody can calculate the future... *edit* its only now I see the graph again that I realize how poorly it was done... excuse me for that.
