New : Stage addition. "fureiru" is corrected to "flail".
Not much to say.
I would give the book info but it seem I misplace my save data again.
I kinda glad that flail been corrected as minor stuff like that tick me off.

I seemed to be unable to find the new stage...

For once I was actually on SR when it got updated. At the moment my team is only on GL1, but the new stage looks like there is a new head and the new stage is aquatic. Awesome.

It seems the boss launches what looks like giant mines that deal extreme damage. I reckon that attack can deal up to 200 damage, which probably means two-hit kills to weaker characters. But I found right away that the attacks can be dodged by moving my Boxer away from the mines before they inflict damage

Looks like your standard bait-and-dodge tactic is in need here. What speed do the mines fly at, out of interest?

From what I can see in the discussions about the Beach 1 stage in the Talk area on the Dan Ball Wiki (link: danball.wikia.com/wiki/Talk:Beach_1 ), the mines actually seem to be a variant of the shock attack that acts somewhat like a mine attack, but damage is applied when the mine disappears

Used my standard strategy for things with high agi and crazy attack and lack of a lot of minions. Freeze knuckle + thunder spear. Freeze practically prema-freezes it as it's agi is pretty high. Thunder spear has the highest dps if the monster is big, fat and staying still... Let the boss freeze while I killed the rest with mage.
Bait and lure works extremely well as well.

The mines dont fly very fast, about slightly faster then arrows. They do damage after 2 seconds. The boss reminds me of a bat, lol. Stage was very easy, but boss was hard, dragging 4 characters at once is basicly impossible. The mine is somewhat a circular shape, but the sides are kinda jagged. If you dont have freeze characters, seem like best way is the throw all meelee characters to boss, then have you sniper at the back. The boss will take out meelee characters first, leaving sniper unharmed, but takes quite a lot of damage (it doesnt seem to have a lot of life), then sniper can easily take it down using dodge. Awesome stage for leveling, enemies all have very little LP and and very slow 1-4 attack but tons of XP

I would advise a bait strategy. If the shots go as slowly as that, they shouldn't be too hard to dodge, and as long as you have a character that can attack it without being hit, it should be simple enough. Unfortunately I can't offer much advice, as my save data for the team I have at Pyramid doesn't work on this account.

You ended the link to early. I think that is because the ":" causes the link to exclude the part of the url after the :. The link/url still works if you highlight it, copy it, and then paste it into the address bar in your browser

My level 53 team didn't have much trouble beating the level and boss without using strategy; I just threw all my guys at him... too easy. None of my guys even died. Hm

Well, that's definitely not my situation.
I have to use a hit and run strategy since three of my rangers got killed in two shots.
I beat the stage anyway.

hit and run works fine as long as you watch out for when the mines disappear.

Yeah. I would suggest coupling hit-and-run with bait. It means you have even better chances of survival.

I have managed to pull it off before, just about. You just need to be very fast with your mouse.

i could say the shocks-mines is as fast as Submarine 1 Boss mines. Anyway, it have VERY large range and t deals 150-200 DAMAGE!? but it damages you only if it vanishes, like its smaller versions (with 80-90 damage, and shockmine stay here instead of being shooted off). But the worst part is the boss has 3 White Big Vampire Fishes alongside it (i think).
