something interesting is that you can also make working logic gates, by causing it to instead break the glass rather than conduct power.

The older model for example will shatter if it's mercury is removed via bird, or if a liquid is fed in, instead of seed.


possibly if you really know your thunder paths you could even do more complex stuff by selectively creating holes, which would change the thunder's direction.

Hmm, this is starting to look a lot like malbolge. The instruction the thunder sends varies depending on location. A lot of complex stuff can be done with that, but it would be very, very hard to learn, and harder to implement.
