I beat SM Shrine without any one dying.

And? It's not too hard. With the right tactics, it is almost as easy as ' '. Now try beating SM Shrine with a team of four boxers.

Did you drag any of the characters? I didn't.

easy. 4 snipers with quint shot and huge str with catapult card and tons of luck or 4 boxers with freeze knuckles with diamond and quick card.

how would 4 snipers with super high range help when I said you couldn't drag them?

|
Post by necrodoom on Jun 11, 2010 10:55:39 GMT
you dont. they just stay in place and shoot at the boss and with boxers you just have auto walk on.
EDIT: unless you mean that you cant drag to the next sign which is just plain hacking.

Yea, but the boss would then come near you.

So? The SM Shrine Boss is so dead easy after it got dumbed down, every half sane team can beat him without dying and without manual intervention if their level is high enough and a little luck is on their side.

Yea, but the boss would then come near you. it doesnt unless it comes close enough. also boxers attack at melee range any way.

I am suddenly remembering that the team I am using has four boxers. I am rather screwed...

Four boxers? How did you pass Grasslands?
|
|
|
Post by Rabidbadger on Jun 16, 2010 17:49:34 GMT
I am currently on Grassland 4. Yes, I beat GL2. It isn't too hard. I predict that the one way I will not be able to go is past the forest levels. Grasslands will be easy.

The forest levels, at least, have enemies on the ground. I meant the flying enemies.

I heard you lure the flying enemies to the ground, but it didn't work when i tried it.

I think you have to hit them for them to follow you.

Post by noodlesoup on Jun 17, 2010 6:28:22 GMT
Just retreat slowly and they come nearer to the ground.

Post by Rabidbadger on Jun 17, 2010 6:41:46 GMT
Yeah. The flying enemies are annoying, but no as bad as having mushrooms spamming poison clouds in your face. I might have to boss rush the forest levels or something.

...Anyway, shall we return to SM Shrine?

Even without moving your high leveled team it isn't much of an accomplishment....
What was your team made up of?

I reread this thread and used the movement thing

Post by Qwerty on Jun 21, 2010 14:04:48 GMT
Yeah, moving usually helps. A little. Did you pass it now?

Post by Thoru on Jun 21, 2010 15:56:03 GMT
Yup, only thing left is to beat MistGrove 2. Which is strangely harder -.-

SM Shrine is easy when you have a poison arrow. All the megabosses are.

SM Shrine is easy. If you have a melee character, the boss will try to set freeze mines and your ranged people can just attack without being attacked.

Post by Qwerty on Jun 22, 2010 13:45:05 GMT
Yes, but then that melee character would quickly die if you are not careful.
