Indeed, The boss drops a ton of gold. My new goal is to beat it perfectly

My goal is to beat it with four boxers. Which I will have to do at some point relatively soon...

Take screenshots, a video if possible. You'll want proof.

Actually the melee character wouldn't die easily because the boss uses his freeze attack, not his triple fire attack. And remember, the freeze attack got downgraded during the weakening. It only does 5-5 damage, which is not a lot.

So it drains five damage each time for the melee character. It still freezes the person in place. You would have to actually punch the thing a few times before getting frozen, cause when unfrozen you would still need to catch up.

I have four boxers however. That means that the boss will still have three boxers collapsing its skull.

Yeah but it does 5 damage and it would take a whole lot of time just to kill one of your people. and during that time you could deal a lot of damage. By the way, I just got my second team that beat SM Shrine without reviving or touching them. It's 4 sniper team level 41. all oct arrow with bullet's card 3 and critical's card 3

Use the Wiki to find out what gives the items, then spamkill on those creatures.

Get some bronze medals then.. The cavern stages are a good place to get those. You can increase chances of finding items by 80%

an easy way to kill the sm boss whit 4 boxers is this worked for me whit 1 boxer took al long time get the freeze knuckle from a enemy not buy it then you need to make sure that you have the good skills to use the freeze knucke i mean good magic so the atack of freeze always work and AGI 5-10 the use the diamond 3 jewel and you can go to the boss the boxers wil freeze him every second and when he want to get away he lags and go 1mm per sec pretty easy i did it whit 1 boxer and 1 gladiator 1 sniper 1 priest easy (sorry for bad englsih)

Come to think of it, that strategy would work pretty well!

Yeah. A lot of people use that. Apparently you can create permanent freeze, even on bosses. If you could get the freeze to splash...

Nah, that would be too powerful.

I beat Ssh boss with four Boxers under a minute.

Both quite achievements. Awhile ago, someone noticed that the Castle Boss was now considered extremely easy and we were more worried about speed-running him and such, and wondered if the same would eventually be true of SSh. And now look what happened, eh? Can't wait till the next megaboss.

Since the new extended map Qwerty posted is, well, extended, I believe the next megaboss will reside in the greenish area located right to Desert, since all current megabosses have some sort of 'era' (Castle Boss has Grassland, SSh Boss has Seaside and Submarine, and now this one will probably have Desert). I also hope Desert will be one of the major arcs, since all others usually end at 3 or 4 stages.

We would use another major arc since Grasslands. Plus, size fits a desert well. Oasis'll probably split off from it, and Pyramid will probably be at the end.

So Oasis will be just like Lake, branching off into nothingness? I really hope there are going to be some good items in it (since Lake introduced Medals which are good compo items).

Well, it has to have something good, or people wouldn't bother playing it.

Well, it has to have something good, or people wouldn't bother playing it. Or have its own icon.

Post by Qwerty on Jul 1, 2010 17:02:41 GMT
Well, it can have its own icon merely because it branches off. Lake doesn't have an icon so much as an actual lake, but cavern has its own icon on either side.

I can't speed-run SMS. Oh well. But I suddenly realise how the Icons would be put in.

Here's Yonder's team of 4 boxers beating SM shrine: Tried 4 boxers.. couldn't even get past grasslands.. -_- I remember going through the game with those guys. It was a really tough challenge! Especially since all your SP goes into MAG if you want some good spamkill weapons(Spark Glove for example), and that lowers your health since there are only 20-30 SP spent into STR.

4-Boxer teams are easy. I am on SS3 with mine. Only now do I realise that I am screwed unless I boss rush.
