The Nonja Base is separated into seven stories. Here, I will go into a complete and detailed analysis of each.
Base Exterior:
The base exterior is the rest of the Nonja Island. Note that anything off-island is accessible only to Class X security or anyone with direct permission from Temporarily9.
The base exterior is open to Class D Nonjas and above when under orders, and Class A Nonjas and above may exit the base freely. It is suggested that the exterior be used by scout groups, transportation workers, technicians, and medics.
Elevator Systems:
There are several large elevators. Each elevator is capable of holding quite a few Nonjas. Elevators can be controlled by in-elevator buttons, by voice command, or from the inner sanctum. They may be locked down at any point in the shaft.
In the middle of these elevators there is a larger elevator, designed for lifting such things as helicopters, tanks, or larger portions of a Nonja army. Nonja equipment is designed to be collapsible into this space.
In order to support this massive weight, many elevator cables are used. These cables can be remotely cut (and the elevator safety mechanisms deactivated) from the Inner Sanctum.
The elevators are open to all security classes when orders are given. They are open to Class C security clearance and above for free use.
Ground Level:
This is a simple concept. Here Nonjas scan incoming prisoners, as well as incoming Nonjas. There is a medium-sized, well-guarded chamber surrounding the central elevator shafts, with a long hallway leading off of it. A room in a section of the larger room is used for strip searches and clothing changes (for instance, with undercover scout Nonjas). As with the rest of the base, cameras are everywhere.
The hallway is full of security devices, such as metal detectors, body scanners, and everything else needed to act like the TSA. There is a button in the Inner Sanctum to stow these security devices in the ceiling for easy transportation of massive amount of Nonjas or large vehicles into and out of the base. On top of that, at each end of the hallway there is a thick steel blast door.
The ground level's central room is open to Class E Nonjas or above when orders are given. It is open freely to Class B Nonjas and above. It is also open to Base Guards (when assigned there), Scout or wheGroups (when orders are given or when necessary),
B1 / Recreation:
The recreation hall contains a mess hall, a kitchen, and a recreation room, arranged in this manner. The recreational hall contains sets of televisions streaming from the base's entertainment system (There are many channels, but essentially they either fall under torture, propaganda, or both). There are fight simulators, propaganda games, pin-the-knife-on-the-Nonja-Fighter's-throat, etc, etc. Billiards is also included, as it has been found to increase dexterity.
The mess hall is a set of extremely long tables with chairs on each side. A conveyor belt on each table leads from the kitchen. Each spot offers a tap for water (which contains a non-harmful but addictive chemical that only the Nonjas may provide), and a console for ramen orders. Provided it is the Nonjas' meal shift, ramen will arrive via conveyor belt from the kitchen.
The kitchen is almost entirely automated, but not entirely. Kitchen staff upkeep the stores of flavoring packs, and experiment with new ramen recipes. However, most of the kitchen is taken up by an instant ramen machine, which receives orders from the mess hall, chooses the correct amount of ramen and flavoring packet, mixes well, pours in a bowl, and sends to the proper seat. The ramen is provided by a device that produces ramen, given raw materials, and cooks it in large quantities. When the kitchen staff decide the ramen is ready, they add it to the instant ramen machine, which keeps it warm.
The recreation room is open to Class D Nonjas and above when on their brief recreation period, and to Class B Nonjas whenever they have extra time. The room is additionally open to torture operators, base guards, and technicians when they are under orders.
The mess hall is open to Class D Nonjas and above during their designated meal times. It is open to Class B Nonjas and above whenever they are hungry. Note that Class A Nonjas and above rarely ever eat here, as they may do so in the Inner Sanctum. It is also open to base guards, kitchen staff, and technicians when under orders.
The kitchen is open to Class C Nonjas and above when necessary.. Class B Nonjas and above may enter it at will, although why they would do so is beyond me. It is open at all times to kitchen staff, and when under orders to technicians and base guards.
B2 / Barracks
The barracks contain storage, sleeping quarters, a medical bay, and training areas. A hallway heading from the elevators leads to a room that splits the hallway into four, each leading to a different area.
The storage area is what may be expected. It contains storage. Raw materials, ramen, collapsed vehicles, weapons, equipment, each type of item has its own room. The efficient computer system controlling the storage room can, in some cases, retrieve the needed item or items automatically. Items are supported on rows of racks in each room.
The sleeping quarters are a bunch of bunks all stuffed together, about 5 bunks high. Each bunk has a small shelf underneath, which contains extra uniforms and equipment. The bunk is labeled with the number of the Nonja that sleeps in it, although they are switched around often so as to avoid friendships. On the near side of the sleeping quarters there are showers and bathrooms.
The medical bay is similar to the sleeping quarters, but is full of medical Nonjas and medical supplies. Nonjas come here for genealogical testing, medical implants, surgery, etc.
The training area splits off into many rooms of varying sizes. There are simulations, training arenas, hazard courses, obstacle courses, etc. Nonjas train here. Obviously.
Storage is accessible to Class C Nonjas and above when under orders, and Class B Nonjas and above freely. Torture operators, base guards, transportation workers, kitchen staff, and technicians are allowed in when under orders, but base guards are not permitted to operate the storage system.
The sleeping quarters are accessible to Class D Nonjas and above during their designated sleeping time or when under orders. They are open to Class B Nonjas and above freely.
The medical bay is open to Class F security clearance and above when needed or when under orders. Medics may enter freely, and in fact are usually not allowed to leave without orders. Class C Nonjas and above may enter freely.
The training area is open to Class D Nonjas and above both when under orders and during free time. Class B Nonjas and above may enter at will. Young trainees are stationed here.
B3 / Main Containment Center
The main containment center is made of 6 cell blocks. Each cell block is a row of cells. Each cell is essentially a metal box with a solid door (with a small window in it), with a hole in the ground for a bathroom, a hole in the ceiling from which Ramen with the flavor of ground-up bodies is occasionally dropped, and a few cameras on constant watch. There is also a small room in this system from which all the cameras may be seen and all the cells may be controlled. Each cell comes with temperature adjusters (good for torture) and poison gas canisters (for clearing out a cell).
Class D Nonjas and above are allowed here when under orders, while the Class F prisoners are forced here. Class B Nonjas may enter freely. Torture operators, technicians, and base guards are allowed to enter under orders.
B4 / Torture Chamber
The torture chamber contains every form of torture imaginable. Around the elevator is a very large chamber, the largest in the Nonja base. On the edges, there are several hallways leading to smaller rooms of various types. The chamber is full of covered and uncovered pits of various substances, restraints everywhere, and the occasional Nonja-only control room used for remotely scanning and operating torture mechanisms. There are pipes of various substances leading everywhere. Around the ceiling, there is a balcony that Nonjas may use to observe the torture during their free time. There are also occasional hospital beds
It is said that, hidden amongst the maze of hallways, there is an unknown section of the torture chamber. With the exception of messengers, haulers, and medics, it is said that those that enter never return, including Nonjas. Sometimes inhuman screams can be heard even behind the thick steel door separating it from the rest of the chamber. No further information is required or will be provided.
Class D Nonjas and above may access the torture chamber when under orders, or view it from the balcony during their free time.
