This is where I post random entries from my life and complain or comment about them to an audience of none! Huzzah for a public diary. Due to the modified rules in my board, I will post each entry in a separate post.

Well, I'm taking the SAT for the first time today, and like a true Qwerty I haven't studied a bit. Wish me luck!

One of the Christian clubs decided to crash our Atheist club meeting. We would NEVER do that to theirs without asking them first and organizing a debate. Jerks.

Hmm. They should be more tolerant.

Yes, yes they should.
In other news, I'm still sick. Still. From, like, 10 weeks ago, going on 11. Been back and forth and now I am at forth. I hope to be at back soon.

Yep, that's what it is meant to be. Had lunch today. Big buffet. Nowhere near as good as homecooking.

I went out to lunch too, for my great-aunt's birthday. Only they didn't have any good lunch foods, so I got a waffle. Just the same as I overslept and didn't get to have breakfast.

Today was fun. Band teacher was light on us in band today (which is odd, as the biggest band competition of the year is tomorrow), I got to finish The Hunt for Red October in English, and I completely killed a physics test early to make time for the competition.
Atheism club, however, was a slight disappointment. We decided to have a moderated debate with the Christian club (that shows up completely uninvited at EVERY MEETING, and decided to hand out fliers to some guest speaker) about a specific topic. Someone suggested one, and their chosen topic was "Why is there such a thing as atheism?". No. Really. That was his "specific topic". Thankfully it changed to the origins of the universe, but as that's an incredibly abstract topic nobody really ended up getting anywhere and I was just about to mention negative energy as it pertains to the Big Bang when the bell rang and I had to go take a physics test about positive energy.
Well, positive electricity, anyway. I was all amped up for it, expecting at least one question to get an "Ohm my, how do I do this?", but it turned out to be really easy. Not a single question got a "Watt?" from me. Beats studying Voltaire, anyway, although I would prefer to read Joules Verne. I'll be shocked if I don't do well.
My internet might be fixed soon. It's been crappy and intermittent for quite awhile now and neither parent cares, but now the TV is starting to be affected and naturally, since my parents actually watch the TV, all hell breaks loose. Typical. If something happens about it, hopefully it will fix the internet as a side-effect.

I hate it when my internet dies. Though I just found out that my Airport card is shot, so that may have been the problem a few times. Figures as the computer is 4 years old, and was purchased used. God knows what they did to it...

...Who eats chicken with waffles... Is it any good at least? Is it good??? IS IT GOOD??? Chicken and waffles is like the ambrosia of the food world, second ONLY to bacon! Ever heard of the legendary Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles in California? Or Gladys' and Ron's in Atlanta, the very pinnacle of all soul food restaurants? Chicken and waffles is a culinary wonder beyond compare!

It goes together like cocaine and waffles, or chocolate and Chinese food. Please tell me someone got that.
This one doesn't relate to me, but it ticks me off. I'll quote him.

Woo, just watched a launch at Vandenburg air-force base. Well, I didn't watch it there. It was just close enough for me to see it. Saw it switch stages and everything.
Also, we've officially decided to ignore all the Christians that are trying to hijack the atheism club and we are retaking control of our club. We're instating a hierarchy and a schedule and we are NOT going to spend every single day in religious debate. That isn't what the club is about.
Also, as the club press secretary, ideas for posters/meetings/discussions/slogans are appreciated.

Aaaaand I know it's a bit late, but the Atheism Club meeting on Thursday actually went quite well for once. We got some ideas for future meetings sorted out and we should be set til the end of the year.

Ah, I forgot. Trebuchet launch semi-successful, and I'm headed off to UCLA Alumni Day tomorrow.

UCLA day was today. Fun, but not like before. Two years ago the open house for Physics/Astronomy took up a balcony and was full of intelligent people discussing intelligent things. A year ago it was reduced to a stand among others, but they did have solar telescopes and I got to go to an astronomy talk and have lunch at a table full of distinguished astronomers (talk about decent lunchtime conversation!). This year, they only had the info booth and the planetarium show. One display of the locations of stars that I neither care about (well, maybe a little) and certainly already know about, two solar telescopes, and a fancy thing involving an electromagnet and a ring of aluminum (nobody at the stand actually knew how it worked).
However, I did get something even more valuable. The assistant chairman of the place remembered me from last year and gave me an offer I can't refuse. I can come for a private tour of the facilities and talk with the chairs of the departments and the astrophysicists, physicists, and professors within. They also said something about giving the AI new test subjects, but I'm sure that was a joke.

Today should be fun. Physics trip to Knotts. Theme park, for those that don't live in Southern California. Home of fun rides.

I had a bunch of fun, although the lines were longer than I expected for a Tuesday. We only got to go on a few rides, though, due to time constraints and lines.

Today was fun. Did well in a band competition. I'm hoping I finish that space ship project sooner rather than later.

Yes, it's quite on track. I just need to get models to fire cannons at (I'll do some range testing later today) and reinforcement for the TNT cannons so they don't spill water on the redstone.

Yay bumpdate! Random funny thing that happened to me today.
I was late leaving my house, and had to go back for a pencil, so I was panicking that I was going to miss the bus to my college. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but as this is midterm I couldn't miss it or else. So I ran to the bus stop, ended up getting there not only early, but the bus was fifteen minutes late. I quickly went from relieved to panicked as the bus failed to show up, but it eventually got there and got me to school just barely in time to run to my class.
...To find out that midterms are next class. Joy.

Heh, I recently had my own experience with exams in which I didn't have batteries for my calculator for my math exam. Total nightmare, had to run to Speedway and pick up 4 AAA's for 16 f-ing dollars.

Oh jesus, this thread still exists. I should probably archive it or something.
Also I do believe you just broke some kind of record as necroposting goes.
