2. Don't try to harm Tephanis, he is just a spectator. Besides, you'll get hurt. A lot.
3. Don't let the game stagnate, try to keep some action in it.
4. The object of the game is to control all the islands via diplomatic or military means.
5. I can add more rules at my discretion.
This game is mostly a fantasy type roleplaying game, in which you play a person transplanted from your respective world into Tephanis' Realm. Here he has complete power, but can only use it in this dimension. It consists of a large, floating, chunk of stone in the middle of a swirling and chaotic sky (but only seen from outside of the individual islands, when on an island you see the sky as how it would match that realm. i.e. Lordara would have a constantly sunny sky, Barrowblight would have a dead grey sky) with smaller chunks floating around it, each one representing a different world. Various floating "islands" are connected by marble bridges and are themed, such as one that is a giant arena, another a lavish palace, one a perfected forest, and even a complete replica of earth, shrunk down to cover a total area of 1000 sq miles (featuring miniature people). Off to the side, in a smaller, shielded area, is Tephanis' "viewing area", where he views the events of the arena and keeps notes. Tephanus can directly affect the entire pocket dimension, however not the transplanted people. Meaning, he could for example drop a 2000 ton rock on top of you, but could not, say turn you to stone. He has brought you here to observe the effects of extreme power on mortals. He does not aim to interfere in your new life, just observe. He, will however, reward people who complete certain tasks or show enjoyment in their new home instead of trying to kill him like the last group of unruly adventurers. Each person who is transplanted is granted an "island" of his/her choice to rule over and is granted the world effecting powers of Tephanis, but only on their respective island. It takes a lot of energy to use your magical island affecting powers, so don't overuse them. Each island has a "gem" that represents in color and shape it's parent island. Each gem has a special ability that I will tell you once you choose an island. The owner of an island's gem is the controller of that island. Here are the "islands" to choose from. All islands are between 950 and 1050 sq. miles. Unless specifically mentioned in the island's description, it is assumed that all of the creatures/soldiers on the island are under your command. Not psychically or anything compulsive like that, they just obey you like a soldier obeys his commander.
Ballistica- An island where explosions and destruction are amplified. Warriors are fire elementals and fire golems.
Lordara- An island consisting of a lavish, Arabic style, palace, with many servants and soldiers.
Deadlands- A blasted landscape with thousands of Demon-Esque creatures.
Moonshadow- A perfect, forest full of deer and other beautiful herbivores. Warriors consist of Nature Sprites and Wood Elves.
Uungor- A strange alien landscape which is crawling with odd mutated creatures.
Apocraphya- A chaotic island, where nothing stays the same for to long. Warriors are mostly deformed creatures from other islands.
Fantasia- A world consisting of only mythological creatures (at least, mythological on earth).
Barrowblight- Full of Tombs and undead creatures.
Arcana- A world of magic, it's warriors are almost exclusively elementals and golems. There is also a minority of mages of different races from each island.
Ashpit- An island inhabited by wispy shadow monsters. They can't do much physical damage on their own, but they are very resistant to magic, and can cause a lot of damage when they team up.
Earth II- A world of tiny people doing tiny things in their tiny lives. They are so greedy it is unlikely any will help even the Island's Master without proper motivation.
Clockwork- A world of technology and mechanics, the warriors are mostly robots and constructs. ________________________________ Races
Dark Elves- Also called drow, they are renowned for their stealth and ruthlessness.
High Elves- Focusing on magic, they are convinced anyone not themselves is a blithering idiot.
Demon- Basically, make something up. Demons vary greatly
Dragon- A little on the vain side, dragons are very powerful. Decide on any color you like.
Human-Duh!
Design your own- Just make sure I approve it first! __________________________ Classes
Necromancer- Obvious
Mage- Obvious
Warrior-Obvious
Warlock- Summons Demons.
Priest- Heals people.
Lord/Lady- Has a bonus to leadership, he/she is more likely to persuade more stubborn races to fight. Also has a big bonus to diplomacy when dealing with NPC islands.
Shaman/Druid-Natureish, I guess...
Assassin-Obvious.
Warlord- All fighters under him/her get a bonus to attacks and other combat-based stuff.
Design Your Own!-Make sure I approve it first. _________________________________
Template-
Name-Obvious Race- Race 2-The other half of your race. Optional. Class-Your more powerful class Sub-Class-Your less powerful class (No conflicting ones like Priest and Necromancer or Shaman and Warlock, please. Having the same Class as Sub-Class gives you a bonus to your skill in that and a bonus ability to boot.) Island Owned- You can only start with one and only one person can own each island.

Description : Armensul remains Humanoid Human at a staggering 9 foot six. And hits 370 lb. When he's not in humanoid form. He is Several 100 feet high. He is dragon in the face and tail. But he stands straight tall and has 4 pairs of arms. 1 pair is large. The other 3 pairs are marked with engravings. He is able to summon powerful creatures and do powerful encantations. Can do a lot of physical damage as well and hits many foes. But he tires easy due to his demonic anscestors and he is tender because he is mostly mana. Arrows can sometimes go right through him. This is good and bad. His Body and tail and face are armored with pure ONYX shells. His limbs are cuttable. Making them sometimes possible to be completely removed. Removing the pair of large beastly arms renders him un able to attack physically cept by using his tail. He is slow to move also when he is in this form. He cannot turn into his true form unless he is outside. Leaving Lordara and Clockwork impossible to make him turn. And many other areas can be difficult as well.
Known Spells True Form - Armensul releases his birthright. Bestowing more power than 5 undead dragons. Only usable in Ashlands and Arcana.
Fire Dragon Summon - By sacrificing a little of his sanity. Armensul uses his Warlock Powers to summon a Fire Dragon from the pits of Aegis in Arcana
Water Dragon Summon - By sacrificing a little of his sanity. Armensul uses his Warlock Powers to summon a Water Dragon from the pits of Aegis in Arcana.
Armies of the Punished - Only usable in Ashlands and Arcana. Summon a army of 100 revenants. Powerful Half Gods Skeletons. Easily killed only by the power of water.
Giga Gavition - Kills all living fleshed non magical organisms in 100 yard radius. not including forum players.
Alright. So I guess I start with 10 Armies of Men. I want to enter Lordara and Conquer it. Send 3 one a triangle formation. Try to set up defenses around the keep first. And then make slow attacks while I send Armies. Dismissed!
(Sorry for the bad post, I'm eating right now and typing with one hand) I'll make a better more organized post later.
Clockwork : Get all 20 Land Squads to attack at the same time! Slowly push forward nevver stopping. Keep narrow hallways blocked. And make it so all armies must filter thru a single hall.
Minion : But wouldn't that be a disadva-
Clockwork : Set up an explosive trap there if you must!
ugh... what happened? where am I? Roght looks around. Creatures surrounded him, though none of them paying him any attention. They were all sorts of creatures in every conceivable shape and size. They bustled about on their mysterious errands looking almost alive. Almost... Roght turned around. there was a creature watching him. It had two legs yet had no trouble balancing. It seemed to have two other appendages higher up on its body, but they did not look made to walk. Standing on its two legs like that, it was about twice as tall as Roght. Its body gleamed golden. "Hello, Roght." "So you know my name." "I see you like to get to the point. Very well. You have been transported from your planet and given a vast domain that is under your control. You own all of this. You control all of this. You have been given god-like powers." "... Why?" "My lord Tephanis wishes to study the effect of god-like power on mortals." "I'm a test subject." "If you wish to be so blunt, but--" "Bring me back." "Roght! You have been given a whole world to command! I understand that in your community you were an engineer. You created mining equipment that revolutionized the industry. Look around you! These very creatures, they are machines! You can study them! Learn from their design! Imagine: A world tailored to mechanics! Have you noticed the atmosphere is completely void of moisture? That the wind kicks up no dust? With this world and your powers, you can make wonders!" "I want back." "Don't be so ungrateful!" *silence* "Well, Tephanis has been most kind to you. if you return his favors with such ingratitude then so be it. I will leave you now." The strange metallic creature vanished in a flash of light. "Tephanis, Dammit! Can you hear me?! I want out! Tephanis! Tepahniiiiiiiis!!!" Roght in his rage didn't realize that he had gone to white-hot. The metal beneath his feet warped and glowed. Suddenly, Roght felt worn out. He collapsed. His last thought was the name of the mate he left behind. Leenah, Leeenaaaaah

Minion : Lordara has been conquered. All Forces are doomed. Now we will clear out traps and construct it to a more suitable palace.
Clockwork : Erm, also. I have heard of a new God here. I wish a meeting.
Minion : How?
Clockwork : Make sure you slip this into his drink... *Clockwork Gives Minion a strange small cube. The size of a pill. Labled GODSIGHT-00X* When you slip it into his drink. Please make sure you... stay hidden and get out fast.
*Deep inside Iza's Domain* *Minion Slips God Sight into Iza's Drink*
Iza : To all, This shall be a trademark of our traditions. Let it be known!
*He takes a sip* *He stops dead in his tracks.* *Iza starts seeing a brightlight. His skin starts to gather a strange film around it. And expands. Knocking Out all of his servants for around 30 seconds.
*Clockwork enters* *Clockwork is in True Form, and clutches Iza in his claws and carries him off to Lordara.
*Iza wakes up*
*Many Minions Clad in Silver Armor stand before him bowing.*
On a quickly Scrawled Note on a throne. He reads the following.
" Consider this a birthday Present. I am welcoming you to society. I also wish to discuss a project that me and you should work in. It's code named "GODFALL".
I'm pretty sure you will be pleased with it. Contact me as soon as you can"
Name- James Tyler Fox Race- Elemental Race 2- Deltan (My own concoction, mostly responsible for background such as appearance and motivation) Class- Engineer (Mechanical, Chemical, Alchemical) Sub-Class- Soldier (Like a warrior, but leaned more towards a modern-military-esque style) Island Owned- Ballistica.
To more suit my style, i've gone out on a limb with the inhabitants. People of the land are Fire Elementals, which are something of an anthropomorphic animal of canine variety (Which is where Deltan comes in), but with the uncanny abilitiy to command Fire.
The whole "Golem" thing is translated into magical, living rock (and none of that floating rock bunch crap, they're actually precision stone parts that are magically driven). Semi-intelligent, but unaware. They are magically controlled and operated. The intelligence comes with that they do what they are instructed to by the operator, and become better and more efficent at tasks with time. Hence putting them through training with soldiers. They basically fill the role of combat armor (as in, armored vehicles, or the equivalent). They are an age-old creation.
The primary weapons of the men themselves is a crossbow, which is a rack-fed composite bow. It is reasonably sophisticated and highly reliable. Gunpowder is utilized in cartridges for Handcannons (known as such because its like a small cannon in your hands), a powerful blunderbuss-esque instrument that is used mainly by special troops. And, of course, every soldier possesses their fire-brandishing power.
I hope i'm not overstepping anything here? I sort of have a need to tweak things in my style.
tl;dr: Firebending Furries and Firetanks of Rock. Crossbows, Blunderbusses, and hoping you'll roll with it.
Might wanna check that. Otherwise I do not think your overstepping it. You should see how much my actual character is overpowered. Of course I never start wars with players. And usually try to ally them.
((Hate to break it to you, but Roght is a skeleton. last time I checked, skeletons don't drink. Also, you can just make me accept the poison. no, no, no. Unacceptable. That post never happened, and I'm sure V.I.R.O.S. will agree. Oh, and if you read fox's post, he chose Ballistica. He wants to be an engineer IRL, so that's why he wanted clockwork. I, however don't like magic so I tried to choose the most magic-free world.))
Roght woke up, aware of the depression his heat had made in the metal. The strange creatures (Machines?) continued to trundle along on their mysterious duties. Curiosity crept up despite himself and Roght followed one. The machine didn't seem to take any notice of him. Ahead a great pit opened up and swallowed the machine. Roght took a step forward. The pit opened again, apparently waiting for him. Roght cautiously stepped in, glowing a dull red so the could see. The pit closed up and suddenly there was light everywhere! Strange torches stood out along the walls. Roght reached out to one and found that it emitted no heat. How odd. Creatures of all shape and size scurried about with much more intensity than on the surface. The pit, Roght realized was more like an immense tunnel structure through solid metal. The whole thing reminded him of the mines at home, but instead of rocks and ores, there was pure, refined metal everywhere. The machines seemed to be mining this metal systematically. there were huge tunnels ten times the size of Roght. From them branched tunnels twice his size. then ones he could just squeeze through. And as he look at the walls, there were even smaller tunnels. Roght saw a tiny machine with six legs crawl into one of the smaller tunnels. It was lost to sight. Roght brightened a claw to a glowing yellow and lifted it to the entrance of one of the smaller tunnels. The tunnels branched off again and again. This was almost a strip mine! every ounce of metal that could possibly be extracted without damaging the tunnels' structural integrity was mined. The little 6-legged creature re-emerged, looking somehow fatter. Roght began to follow it. He saw the feet of the two legged creature from Tephanis. He looked up. "You." "Hello, Roght, I'm sure you're beginning to enjoy your new home?" "Get out." "You know, you have god-like powers. You don't need to walk, or create light. You can see without light. You can move without walking. You can do anything you wish!" "Can I go home?" "Now, Roght-" "That's what I thought." Roght pushed his way past the creature. "My name's Daneel, by the way," Started the creature, beginning to follow Roght, "You are really disappointing Tephanis. Do you not wish to make use of your powers? Please, think about the possibilities! You can't tell me that at home you never came up with an engineering solution, only to find that you lack the materials or precision! But here you have infinite materials, and infinite precision, too! Why-" "Just leave." "Tephanis has permanently stationed me with you. I am to be your aid and assistant." Roght stopped and faced Daneel. Then turned and continued walking. This would not be an enjoyable day.

Fine don't take it. I don't care. Kinda Ruined it though. Just had to ruin the roleplay. This game sucks when everyone is immune to weaknesses. Skeletons? You said you don't like magic. How the hell are you moving?
First off, Roght has weakness. He can even die. I don't think it'd really be fun if you kill him, (It'd be pretty hard, anyway) but he still has plenty of weaknesses. Second. You made roght do stuff. In an RP, you don't control somone else's character. Roght would never have made his cute little speach and drank the poison. look at how he acts! He doesn't even want to BE here! as for how he moves... STRING THEORY!!! *sticks fingers in ears* BLAH! BLAH! BLAH! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT REAL SCIENCE, I'M A STRING THEORIST!!!! That's my little exception. I can make him move however I want to make him move. If you must know, his entire design is inspired by the demons in a movie about the Antichrist.

String Theory has nothing to do with negative energy. Even Newton's Primary Law was defied. WTF Kinda character you got. I was going to give you an entire world. Whatever, it was my way of making an alliance O.o
you could always try talking to Roght. He's angry, but not unreasonable. Like I said, black fire, moving skeletons, my choice. furthermore, Roght doesn't break as many laws as you think. you just don't know enough about him.

First of all, there needs to be a little more buildup to things. The first thing you did was send men to conquer another island. I don't think any ten troops would counqer an island.
Also, you can't force other people to do things in the roleplay. You have to learn to set up situations where thats all they can do, or where its inevitable.
Either way, i'm resigning my admission to the game.

Lev felt amazing power, but he was getting quite, quite lonely. He wondered what to do to this interesting little planet. He grinned and added a green smiley walker to the mix. he walked down and punched it. It wasn't too satisfying. He sighed.
Poison glove, slowly robbing you of your health in a hail of poisonous punches.
Notes - Radec is generally savage, but also very intelligent. He can quick-think himself out of situations and uses this talent to solve "problems." Radec is ruthless and even kills his soldiers for the slightest misunderstandings. (i.e. Uniform violations) Although he rarely ever takes a peaceful approach, he knows when to fight and when to retreat. It is because of this that he controlled a vicious army which was called the Hellvex. They were known and feared for their merciless slaughterings of any enemies. However, after his transport here, he does not have this same army and must rebuild a new one from the deformed creatures of Apocraphya.
